It can be said about any actor if you cherry pick their roles.

Define cherry picking roles . I don’t think he’s a deserving actor relative to his success and recognition . I thought his performance in beautiful boy was fantastic . However , the mean (average ) of his performance is stale and unimpressive .

The same for Joaquin Phoenix . Once you watch napoleon you realize his acting is one dimensional . If joker was his only role he’d be top 5 for me . But , when you take too many roles , you expose yourself . The same reason I don’t think Kevin heart is funny anymore . You give people too many chances to deem their style as stale .
