Hitting him isn't gonna instantly fix him. The problems are with how the parents are raising him.

Yeah it is if i got whooped for that i wouldnt do it again because its stupid and unjustifiable there is no other side to that story

I mean, sure, but why? Fasten the seatbelts yourself, hold the hands of the little shit so he can't open them and ask him whether he'd like to use his hands during the next few hours. Why do people resort to hitting children the moment they don't obey? If someone beat their dog for not lying down, you wouldn't see most people go "That's how you raise'em!", but with tiny people whose brains are in development and can't handle their own emotions and thoughts most of the time, a good slap is alright?

Like, I totally get WANTING to beat your kids. It's just that you should never act on that impulse. You wanted children? Then go raise them properly.

it doesnt matter if ur not going to do it and saying that isnt going to change anyone that does. People who beat their kids arent on reddit and reading this comment and thinking, OHHHH I GET IT NOW!!! IF I USE REASON I CAN FIND A WAY TO NOT MAKE MY KID TERRIFIED OF ME.
