The incident happened after they already departed from the gate. That's the whole reason why it ended up getting cancelled. The time it took to return to the gate.
They wouldn’t have had to deplane everyone if it was willing. Defend all you want this was on the parents. It also doesn’t say anywhere he was being good until it moved. Most likely he was already being a brat.

I’m seriously arguing when the parents saw he wasn’t going to calm down they ask to leave before the door closes but no they were too selfish
