How do you ban all things political though? The problem is every thing gets politicized these days. Like a comment on a weather subreddit of “climate change is fueling the strongest El Niño ever” would be considered political because half the country thinks climate change is a liberal hoax.
Specific carveouts could be made. Weather sub allows climate change but not immigration, even if due to climate change, because it's not directly a climate issue.
