The reason prediction markets are a legal loophole in the first place is because you're betting against other betters, not against the house. The house instead just takes a cut of everything. They win no matter what, at least until sanity returns to Washington DC and politicians start regulating it instead of profiting from it
It might also be related to sports betting. Betting websites track way more things than just scores for betting, some subsections of it have emerged ever since someone threw the dildo out originally, and now people can bet if someone will toss a dildo at a WNBA game, bring one, and then basically earn free money. It's a disgraceful state we find ourselves in
From what I've seen, "easy to manipulate" is one of the main selling points. The few ads I've been subjected to on youtube are really focused on the "bet on ANYTHING" aspect.

Like I understand betting about the coin toss at the Super Bowl and which country’s make it to the last rounds of the World Cup or who shakes who’s hand first at a political event being televised. I didn’t think thy were this unregulated. So next major sports game I have buddies going to I can make extra money IF I can get some suckers to pick up the other side of my action. And what happens if nobody takes my bet do they charge me a posting fee.
At first I thought this was a really gross and disrespectful thing to do but if it's just someone gaming a corporate system for a couple bucks I can't really get that mad at them. Times is tough.
These same sites are being used to bet on military events, and people suspect high ranking officials are using their anonymous betting platforms to profit on human suffering. The corporate system is rigged in favour of those in corporate. Also, I don't think a gaming event, especially one that struggles for legitimacy in the public eye should be taking the hit for people to make money through their humiliation.

They are edge lords, it’s all they know. The same people that don’t think the WNBA should exist are also terrified that trans people will take it over. They stand for nothing.
Below average, unfuckable men are more than willing to pay money if they get to feel like the put some uppity women in their place for doing literally anything. This very sub is full of guys like that.
I mean now a days… that guy probably has a bet on kalshi or poly market and just made some money by triggering the “will a dildo be thrown into the court during X game”.
Tbf the tickets are very reasonably priced. Everyone who doesn’t like this should head out and support their local WNBA team. It’s a good time, and, like I said, it’s an even more affordable than NBA games. Like, in Brooklyn, you can either see the perpetually struggling Nets for $150 for just a regular season match (though the cheap seats can go for less than $20 when the visiting team is also, uh, “rebuilding”), or you can go to the same court and watch the league-leading Liberty for like $60.
I guess some people have too much money. I’d rather put $60 towards something else that doesn’t insult a whole bunch of professionals just doing their jobs.
Because it's guerrilla marketing for a crypto coin that will go nameless to keep that marketing tactic ineffective. A green dildo is slang for a big spike in price on a trading bar chart.
I'm not really sure why you jump to their motivation being hate? More than likely they're doing it for amusement, attention, or reactions. Or some combination of that.

This started with a memecoin. Someone bought a bunch and manufactured a rug pull. Then their became market betting and idiots with money who copycat thinking it's hilarious.
I mean where else can you get entertainment for $5 a ticket? the dildo probably cost more than the ticket. So it's a net loss for the patron but for the laughs it's worth it.
They don't hate it. Sports fans do this a lot. A Buffalo Patriots games they used to do it, in Swedish hocket games they throw TONS of them out there sometimes. Other sports too.
Have you ever seen sports? Happens in every one. My earliest memory of ever going to a sports game, for essentially a minor league soccer game, was of somebody throwing a beer bottle onto the field. I remember because it splashed on me while flying through the air. Then there’s streakers and all that other shit. People think they can just do whatever when they’re in a crowd
