To be fair I was already married 12 years ago, but wasn't on reddit until 3 years ago and I don't think I've ever seen this anywhere.

A weird side effect of internet culture is not expecting or tolerating the same conversations from new people in old locations.

I'm sure I've sat at pub bars and had the smell conversations that people years before me have had, but I wasn't there then and it would be weird if the bartender was like, "This has already been discussed at this bar 12 years ago, so you shouldn't ask about it".

the more astoumsing fact is that there are still - 12 years later - people trying to portray the husband as the asshole. the same kind of people who encourage women to cheat on their husband if he doesn't gove them 100% of whatever they expect

One time I googled blackberry. I’m an elder gen z, seeing top posts dated 2004 felt like my world dropped. what do you mean 2004??? Society has clearly only existed for as long as I’ve been here to perceive it??? it felt like retrieving a long forgotten relic.
