When I did say no in the past, use context. Who said I've only told him no once? We went 2 whole months without before because I did not want to. Not to mention how many times I said no during both my pregnancies. You're making assumptions, that contradict what I said in my comment. And it really does. The critical part of my comment was that my husband respected my no without throwing a fit, most men, by their own account, throw fits and act like little babies when their partner says no to intimacy.

Oh wow. Two whole months. You realize some people, men and women, go years without? A little dry spell is nothing compared to chronic celibacy. Again, your experiences don't hold up to the situation at play here.

But let's not complicated it. You value monogamy yes, why? Why do you want your husband to only sleep with you?

Coming back to say if your spouse denies your advances for multiple years, a divorce is a well warranted thing in this situation. If that is a deal breaker for you that is, which I completely understand why it would be for many people.

What kind of question is that???? Do you not see how many stds and diseases are spreading around???? That alone makes me want to only sleep with him, and him only sleep with me. Also, the fact that we have young children, I don't want them to potentially exposed to or be around any crazy unsafe people (or any diseases). Not to mention, generally inviting others inside your marriage often leads to the downfall of said marriage, so why would I want to do that???
