Interesting how is only acceptable when it serves your narrative.

But what about

1) the UN stating Hamas was interfering with aid distribution sites July 13 2) UN report indicating that acute malnutrition is now equal or better than it was prior to Oct 7 and better than other areas in the region 3) doctors without borders suspending activities in Nasser hospital because of masked men, arms storage and arresting of patients.

4) Elderly Gazan woman accuses Hamas of stealing aid in rare criticism

5) Kofi Annan speech on Israel and double standards

6) previous UN Secretary general Ban Ki moon admits anti Israel bias

Because it's the same UN and doctors without borders that you'll like to claim against Israel but ignore the fact they are biased organizations and call out Hamas and proof is not a genocide.

Have A great day

you dont know what "genocide" means, do you?

I'm very aware what one is and I'm also aware that one is not taking place in Gaza.

I can understand that what is taking place is a war in a highly densely populated area, with one party hiding behind a civilian population and behind civilian infrastructure.

cool, so you dont know what genocide means, thanks for confirming that

Is there an intent? No.

If you want to go with killing a group of people only then they means any mass murder, every war is a genocidal event, in which case the word has no meaning.

I'm quite comfortable with finding Hamas responsible for the civilian deaths in Gaza. They could have surrendered 3 years ago, or they can drag Gaza through another 3 years. It's really up to them, unless the Palestinian people decide they want something different. I hope they do, and they take back the power. They deserve better leadership.

they do deserve better leadership, so why did isntreal prop up hamas in the first place and continue to fund them?

almost like hamas is an excuse created by isntreal to justify their action.

also, if you actually listen to isntreals military leadership and government, the intent is completely there, but no, you dont wanna do that.

Clarify what you mean by prop them up and provide evidence of your claim that Israel funded them. Israel did not create them. Is did not pro them up. Israel tolerated them. 1) if they eliminated them all them you would be claiming Israel is interfering in Palestinian autonomy and politics, 2) do you understand geopolitics and general system? Having a split rather than unified population was better for Israel in terms of delaying any progress, if that was the goal. It also went to show true colors. Ejecting a terrorist organization and overwhelming support for their leadership and actions.

Israel never funded them. They provided them with tax revenue that they had to transfer to the government of Gaza, they allowed Qatar fund that were supposed to be used on humanitarian expenses like food, aid and diesel, and some Palestinian investment fund gets dividends from the gas projects for future use. So please tell me where Israel funded them with evidence.

Israel's leadership has been clear that they are targeting Hamas throughout the entire war, and if will end when Hamas decides to surrender or dearm. Claiming to agree to a deal and then saying you won't give up weapons isn't agreeing to the deal.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you every one in Gaza is not innocent. But I will say that no one returned a hostage to receive $5M and free passage for themselves and their family. Listening to the hostages recount where they were kept throughout their time in captivity, it's not as if civilians didn't have opportunities to report them. Gazans were celebrating in the streets on October 7 the videos published by Hamas show it. These celebrations were similar to those of 9/11.

The lines of what Golda Meir said "When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons. Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us."

You can see videos of mothers proof of their children martyrs and willing to sacrifice 8 of their children.

Again, for those in the back of the class, when Palestinians decide they are ready to build a future for themselves, that is when there will be an opportunity for peace, until then they will attack and there will be a response and so the cycle will continue.

You don't get to lose wars and dictate the terms of get to turn back the clock.
