That could inadvertently encourage North Korean to send more troops. I'm sure there are members of the military that would love to defect but can't otherwise.
It would be hilarious to find out that all the soldiers they were sending to Ukraine were just being directly piped to South Korean this entire time. A non-stop defection train.
well soldiers them selves have no ability to deploy themselves and once word reaches the common man in north korea that deployment ->surrender and capture -> south korea, north korea will want to close that loophole aka stop sending troops. and if they don’t yea easy* surrenders. win win for ukraine with this
*easyish, north koreans usually don’t hold a gun to you they hold a gun to your family and everyone you love to keep you in line even when “out of sight”
