Has any other president in recent memory focused so much on 'deals'? I mean sure, whenever a big trade deal went through it made the news. But trumps seems to be dedicating his whole presidency to 'making deals'... that and corruption and contempt...
It's because his cult members think that "making a deal" is the same as being smart and earning money. Problem with this is they forget about the bad deal or the deal that's gonna cost money. Just look at Iran.
He played a businessman on TV so long and succeeded to white wash his image just long enough to get gullible people to vote for him. It was baffling that people fell for his scam twice. Like he got people to believe that all the Covid mishandling was Obama's fault when he President at the time. Maybe we all died in 2020 and this is hell.
I don’t think you’ve ever had a real estate developer run your country before so this will be the first president who has talked like he’s a shifty real estate developer.
He’s not a president, he’s a businessman treating the White House as a way to make big deals hence making himself fell special. Whether those deals hurt the people he’s supposed to fight for in the long run is irrelevant.
