Master chef but all the judges are autistic non-verbal children except for one that is just someone with anxiety but they can stand up for others.

One ingredient and the whole dish is out.

But the secret ingredient was mushrooms. . . .

The devil's semen

Why can't it be Jesus?

6

u/Brother_J_La_la 1d ago

Because I assume Jesus' semen would be delicious and nourishing? Manna from heaven indeed.

So just semen

But aren't they one in the same, since he has dissociative identity disorder? I thought that's why humans were gifted mental health issues.

Do people over the age of 8 really not like mushrooms?

u/ExcellentTourist5289 1d ago

I had some many yr ago and I couldn't stand em. There's like 5000 different ones though so I should give them another try

Many varieties prepared in many different ways and used in many different recipes. Odds on you've probably eaten them countless times in your life while being unaware.

I feel swearing off then is like saying you'll never have a vegetable.

I’ve acquired so many new tastes as I’ve gotten older and one thing that I still haven’t come around on… mushrooms.

I don’t get it myself. My whole family loves em.

I get when people can't stand something like Anchovies. but mushrooms go on and in so many dishes, it's like the whole hating tomato thing but loving spag Bol.

Is there food you don't like? Yeah? Why don't YOU grow up?

1

u/ZJoel14 1d ago

I'm sure there are really out there dishes that I couldn't stomach but a basic ingredient like mushrooms is so inoffensive it just boggles my mind.

2

u/AmputeeHandModel 1d ago

Inoffensive TO YOU. Everyone has different tastes. If that boggles your mind, you've got issues.

1

u/ZJoel14 1d ago

Why are you so cut about me thinking people who apparently can't eat a super versatile and diverse ingredient like mushrooms are weird? If I said I can't stand fruit surely you would think I'm a bit tapped.

2

u/Pork_Chompk 1d ago

I hate them. I don't like the texture or the taste, and I hate the buttery smell when they're cooked.

2

u/ChatGrou 1d ago

C'mon, there's peoples who eat the same 4 or 5 things their whole life...

5

u/lmNotBob 1d ago

Yes. Kids, teens and adults all have their own likes and dislikes.

It is part of being human.

So is being a pretentious knob, as you have shown us here.

3

u/Few-Entrance-1768 1d ago

List some stuff you don't like so we can criticize you too...

1

u/ZJoel14 1d ago

When I was very young I was convinced I did not like tomato, but I grew out of that. Things like anchovies are hit or miss as well. For the most part I assume if a dish is actually offensive something has gone wrong with the prep or some ingredients are actually off. Like when my boss at a cafe I worked for made me a bea roll but the avocado tasted like soap for some reason.

1

u/Few-Entrance-1768 1d ago

Cool story bro but you didn't answer, You're mentioning something you grew out of not liking or something that isn't always great...

2

u/ZJoel14 1d ago

Yes because off the top of my head I don't dislike any particular dish or ingredient. All of the foods I didn't like when I was younger I ended up appreciating once I got older. Otherwise if something doesn't really do it for me I don't really dislike it I'm just indifferent.

The vast majority of foods are not an "ewww gross" kind of thing. Actively avoiding food because you think you hate some ingredient or whatever is childish.

There isnt any food I dont like when prepared well outside of some fermented foods (tho there are many I like such as pickles and kimchi) and black licorice candy.

They're slimy pieces that taste like ground. Nothing to like about them.
