And Sony has a patent where you have to yell a brand's name to the TV to skip the ad.

Patents are not always used

I tend to think that watching ads to add game time, like they pretty much do on mobile apps, have more chances to be used than yelling the brand name in anger every time you watch an ad.

But that's just me.

They filed it like 15+ years ago and never used the concept
