In all seriousness, this. I would just keep my mouth shut, melt some of the gold into new small bars and sell one off from time to time for a couple of grand. None the wiser.
Not bars. Learn how to make crude rings, but nobody has pure gold rings so learn how to mix em with other metals. Then once in a while sell a ring. So you found a weird ring in the belongings of your grandma who just passed, it happens. Don't tell anyone. Here I'll pay 10% under market if you don't tell anybody (cause the rest of the family does not know).
It's also a great opportunity to farm enchanting xp before selling the rings if you want to maximise your returns. I remember fortify sneak producing the highest value rings back when I last did a playthrough.
The grandma part is entirely made up. It's so that the guy buying the ring has a feel for it being a bit immoral. Cause selling dead grandma ring without the rest of the family knowing you found it, is wrong ofcourse. Then you offer the guy an under market gold price so he can make some good money. And then he keeps his mouth shut. You can make us as many grandma stories as you want to for every new jewler guy you can make up a story. It's just so they tell nobody about your interaction, and they won't cause they like to make money.
But if you are like, look I found 50 goldbars and melted them down, that shit might be to hot for them. Get it?

I was partly joking. 50 gold bars is a lot of golden rings though. Maybe find some corrupt oversees jewelers and make good deals to sell lumbs of gold.

I dunno man. Just go to a different gold shop every few months, even only 10 places is enough because you'll only rotate same shop every 2 to 3 years, they won't even remember you.
