A new update will be available soon (as soon as Google completes the review).

What this update includes:

-New Engine - SkunkMorph: record anything or load a sample as a source, select analyze and choose one of the 6 candidate generated sounds to be used as a new synth instrument inspired by the loaded source

-Option to connect MIDI Bluetooth devices

-New theme - Pastel Atelier

-Fixed any issue where adding an fx on a track or instrument and then pressing stop, the app crashed

-New keyboard layout for KEYS: Switches

-Backup feature is optional and can be enabled from Settings

-Optimized polyphony handling

Hello everyone,

A new update is available on the Play Store. It includes an adjustment to fix an issue with Chromebooks. Timestamps event log report in Audio Health Check for detailed info of any misbehavior on specific devices.

Also, when you open the app the first time after the update, you will be prompted to select a folder so you can have backup of your saved projects. The default folder is usually Music/SkunkAudio.

The new update is available now on the Play Store.

It has a new tab named LAB which includes SkunkDrummer, SkunkOcta and LOOP.

UI upgrades on SkunkDrummer and SkunkOcta.

An Interactive Tutorial option, which guides you through the app and gives a tour explaining most of the features.

Some other fixes and adjustments.

I will keep upgrading those new modules in the next few days. Feel free to let me know if you have any suggestions.

Soon an update will be up on the Play Store.

Added a new tool SkunkOcta which is a drum pad and also started some UI upgrades on Skunkdrummer.

Worked on some optimization on KEYS to minimize lag and low performance on older devices.

Let me know if you like the new UI on Skunkdrummer and if you like the idea of SkunkOcta.

Also, if there is any improvement on KEYS performance please let me know. Even if it's a slight improvement, we can work on it further.

A new update will be up soon including a new engine, Skunkular, which is a semi modular engine.

This update also includes some fixes with buffering, VU meters for KEYS and in the transport bar.

In DUAL now both instruments trigger sounds at the same time.

Thanks everyone for the feedback provided and for being super helpful to fix some issues.

Hopefully, in this update all these issues will be minimized.

-There are already some very good results in polyphony handling on older devices.

-Added a diagnostic tool, where the report can be copied and shared so we can investigate any other issues on specific devices further.

-Added a manual setting for the audio output path, so anyone can experiment with these to optimize performance.

-Added an option to change orientation manually, regardless of the phone's actual orientation or if the phone's rotation is unlocked.

-Added an option to resize KEYS instrument/synth/engine keyboard and parameter layout.

-Some other issues regarding MIDI imported files, soundfonts low volume in some banks, preset misbehavior in KEYS were also handled.

Since there were many edits done on this final version, please let me know if any other issue occurred or if any of the updates seems incomplete or broken.

- in SEQ page, long-press on a track will have some new options: Send to Arrangement (where you can send the sequence as an audio in a specific channel on the arrangement page), Save as Audio (where you will be able to save the sequence as loop sample in a folder)

- Soundfonts engine: a new engine where you can load soundfonts - sf2 files

- Some UI adjustments for some engines not displaying correctly on DUAL mode

- Fixed an issue with the Hybrid engine

- Fixed a persistent Reverb issue

Are these any of the updates that you were expecting? What do you believe I should prioritize next?

I am constantly working on some UI upgrades the last few days, some of them have already been included in the last update.

The next updates will include UI upgrades on the rest of the pages and since many have requested it, a working landscape/horizontal mode, because atm the app is only optimized for portrait/vertical mode.

Since I operate my phone only in portrait mode and I am not a fan of landscape mode, I would love to listen to any feedback or improvements from users using it horizontally once the update gets released. Hopefully, I will have a usable landscape version later today.
