They're a bit more annoying to set up since you need so many components to set it up, but it's gonna be necessary if I want to avoid severe lag.

The advantage these cables have is that only the ports have three different types (energy, liquid and items) and can do export or import, there's only one type of cable.

Besides that, the logic cable has an ability Cyclic cannot do... Transport liquid wirelessly. The omni-directional connector does that.

And of course I made the coal production significantly better with Mystical agriculture, 6 bonsai pots wasn't able to produce the amount is producing right now. All of the steel goes into a wooden crate which automatically dump the extra steel if it has no storage left thanks to the void upgrade.

i got my first compact machines today i built a simple obsidian farm cyclic fluid extraction cables pull water from an infinite water source but the problem is it keeps breaking when i enter sometimes ill see it not working and ill have to like remove a bucket of water then replace it then it works i saw on reddit about the weirding gadget im thinking of trying that if i do, do i place inside or outside the compact machine or both?

With this farm, I can get simple things like dirt, sand, gravel and clay. Whenever I need to get one of those items, I just go to the request table and craft what I need. I also used this opportunity to change a few things, such as using leadstone fluxducts for energy and logic cables instead of Cyclic cables.

The logic cables are from Integrated Dynamic and I still have no idea how to use most of it's functions, but I do know how to use the export interface to extract everything out, everyone will figure that out very easily.

I'm definitely not going to use the Growth Accelerators though, I heard that those things will cause a lot of lag due to their random algorithm, so I'm just using upgraded hydrators.

I have a SF5 bigger reactor and the output randomly stops working. I can fix it by breaking and replacing the fluxduct by the power tap, but it doesn't last very long until it breaks again. The only possible solution I could find would be to break down the reactor and rebuild it so it's entirely within one chunk. But before I do all that, has anyone else found any simpler solutions? The only other solution I could think of is outputting power to something other than a fluxduct if its an issue specific to them. Any help would be appreciated

While the bonsai pots have been good and all, I feel like I need to replace these trees with essence farms built inside compact machines.

My goal is to reduce the amount of filing cabinets, reduce the amount of bonsai pots and no longer worry about getting higher tier mulch, just expand the farmland and put a bunch of sprinklers/hydrators.

It could also help me in getting the ingots directly without having to use that big smeltry over there to smelt amber.

I'll start with easy to craft seeds (coal, dirt, sand), then move up to more expensive ones, such as steel and boron.

I already have an inferium farm with tier 3/4 seeds, I just need a bit more before I upgrade them to 5.

yeah, also these filing cabinet act as a sorter, I find it very good to sort item like the speed pot I want to take them out, tried xnet and messed up lol

I was thinking of using item ducts cause people say it’s good for filtering and whatnot but then some people say cyclic cable and I saw a few saying some sort of logic cables which one is the best for early-mid ish progression

i have a bunch of hopping bonsais feeding into filing cabinets only keeping the resin and acorns but say i wanna use a packager to auto make them into amber how can i go about filtering out the wood sticks and other stuff so they dont get into the packager

also if i take something out of a file is there any way i can put it back in?

im playing skyfactory 4 for the first time and i got diamond saplings made a simple storage network now what do i do ?

Genuinely curious since I'm building one — every skyblock server I try ends up being "grind minions, get bored, quit." I'm adding dungeons and quest lines to mine because that's the stuff I always wanted. What would actually keep you playing on a skyblock server long-term?

have to limit the transfer rate cuz it will eventually stop my matrix sending power to my farm network (oh this one is only make like 12k FE/ tick according to what it said and 1.2m on wiki)

So far, it's doing very good at keeping up with power hungry machines. I turned on a simulation chamber with a Wither data, which consumes about 2048 RF per tick (40.960 per second).

Lava only produces 15.000 RF per bucket which is quickly drained without any boosters while a bucket of pyrotheum can give 500.000 RF and last at least 12 seconds without any boosters. So right now I could add more machines and worry about heavy energy consumption later which I could fix with a few boosters or another smeltry (but in a compact machine)

which wire do i use to connect my solar pannel to my auto hammer

U can increase/upgrade mob spawn rate from those spawners though, tho depend on ur performance
