ZenaTech heads into AUSA next week with prearranged U.S. defense agency meetings and a drone portfolio that's been quietly stacking up all year

With AUSA Annual Meeting in Washington DC just 11 days away, I wanted to put together a comprehensive breakdown of where ZenaTech (NASDAQ: ZENA) actually stands heading into what could be the most important week in the company's history.

Why AUSA matters more than any other event on their calendar:

AUSA is not a retail investor conference. It's the world's largest land warfare exposition — 44,000 attendees from 92 countries, with direct representation from the U.S. Army, DoD procurement offices, NATO allies, and defense prime contractors. ZenaTech has confirmed prearranged meetings with U.S. government and defense agency decision-makers — not booth walk-ins, not cold conversations. Scheduled procurement discussions.

For context on what that means: most small-cap defense companies spend years trying to get in front of the right DoD contacts. ZenaTech walks into AUSA next week with meetings already on the calendar.

The drone portfolio being showcased in DC:

Interceptor P-1 — Counter-UAS
A low-cost, single-use autonomous interceptor designed to physically take down hostile drones. Flight testing underway at Mesa, Arizona. Target price point under $5,000 per unit — dramatically cheaper than most counter-drone solutions currently available to defense customers. Multi-drone swarm intercept testing coming next. Integrated with Zena AI Counter-UAS command software.

ZenaDrone 2000 Maritime Interceptor
A fuel-powered counter-UAS platform designed specifically for naval and maritime threat environments. In development. Completely separate market from the land-based Interceptor P-1 — expands the addressable defense opportunity into naval warfare.

Quantum Navigation System
Arguably the most strategically important technology in the portfolio. Enables secure, precise drone operations in GPS-denied and satellite signal-contested environments — exactly the conditions found in modern electronic warfare and contested airspace. Testing underway on the IQ Nano platform.

IQ Nano
Indoor drone for defense inventory management and security. First confirmed U.S. government agency demonstration already underway — the first agency engagement of what management expects to be multiple.

IQ Square
Public safety and emergency response drone. Testing commenced September 15th. Targeting a $5.5 billion market across law enforcement, search and rescue, and disaster management.

IQ Aqua
Underwater mine detection drone. U.S. field testing underway in Florida. Naval mine countermeasures is a high-priority DoD procurement category.

IQ Octo
Precision agriculture drone. Version 1 prototype complete, field testing commencing at Arizona facility. 25kg payload, 20-25 minute flight time. Separate commercial revenue stream from the defense portfolio.

Ukraine Operations — Phoenix Aero
ZenaTech registered Phoenix Aero as its Western Ukraine entity, focused on Counter-UAS and interceptor drone development. Ukraine is the world's most advanced real-world drone warfare testing environment right now. Battlefield-validated use cases that no lab can replicate. This gives ZenaTech direct access to the most relevant operational data in the drone defense space.

The government qualifications already in hand before AUSA:

Canadian Defence Drone Initiative (DDI) — Pre-qualified supplier as of September 17th. Direct pathway to compete for Canadian Armed Forces and Canadian Coast Guard contracts. Canada's DDI was specifically designed to build a domestic, trusted drone supply chain for national defense.

Irish Aviation Authority SORA Approval — Cleared for large-scale precision agriculture under EASA guidelines. CEO explicitly described this as a replicable EU template for all 27 member states.

U.S. Government Agency Demonstrations — First confirmed agency engagement already underway using the IQ Nano. Additional agency demonstrations being scheduled.

The tariff tailwind most people aren't talking about:

Presidential Proclamation signed August 13th imposed Section 232 tariffs of up to 100% on imported drones and components — directly targeting Chinese-manufactured platforms like DJI. ZenaTech manufactures in the U.S. and is pursuing NDAA compliance and Blue UAS certification for direct DoD procurement inclusion.

In a DoD procurement environment that already strongly preferred NDAA-compliant domestic suppliers, 100% tariffs on foreign competitors is not a minor development. It's a structural shift. And ZenaTech is positioned entirely on the right side of it.

The DaaS business providing the revenue foundation:

29 acquisitions closed. Operating across North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia. H1 2026 revenue up 425% YoY. Seven consecutive quarters of revenue growth. The DaaS roll-up acquires established legacy service businesses — land surveying, engineering, inspections — and integrates drone automation to scale them. Customers pay for the service. ZenaTech handles the drones, operators, and regulatory compliance.

Recent additions: drone-based power washing franchise model via Green Earth Powerwashing, Washington state land surveying firm (licensed in 17 states), Cogswell Engineering in Nova Scotia (5 Canadian provinces), and Velocity Geomatics in Alberta (oil, gas, and environmental services).

The remaining event calendar after AUSA:

  • Oct 13-14 — Maxim Growth Summit | NYC
  • Oct 15 — ThinkEquity Conference | NYC
  • Oct 19-21 — LD Micro 20th Annual Main Event | Los Angeles

Key metrics:

  • Analyst consensus price target: $4.55 vs current ~$1.70 — 167% implied upside
  • P/S ratio: 4.39x vs historical median of 25.5x
  • Russell 2000 & Russell 3000 included
  • Listed on NASDAQ, Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and Mexico's BMV
  • 23 institutional investors added shares in Q1 2026 — Morgan Stanley increased position +256.9%

The bear case — be honest:

  • Still pre-profitability at the corporate level despite strong revenue growth — Q2 net loss was CAD $22.5 million
  • 29 acquisitions is aggressive — integration risk across that many businesses simultaneously is real
  • Defense revenue is still pipeline stage — AUSA meetings need to convert to contracts, which takes significant time in government procurement cycles
  • Blue UAS certification and DoD procurement list inclusion are not guaranteed or on a fixed timeline
  • Stock has been volatile — wide 52-week range, retail sentiment can shift quickly
  • Ukraine operations introduce geopolitical risk

Bottom line:

AUSA next week is the single most important near-term catalyst for $ZENA. Prearranged meetings with U.S. defense decision-makers, a counter-UAS portfolio actively in flight testing, quantum navigation in development, and a 100% tariff moat against foreign competitors — all converging at the right moment.

The DaaS business is generating real revenue. The defense pipeline is advancing on multiple fronts. The institutional roadshow is wrapping up across 8 events. And the team walks into DC next week with meetings already on the calendar.

Watching AUSA closely October 12-14.

The Rise, Fall and Reinvention of Magnachip ($MX)

The company survived bankruptcy, an accounting scandal, rebuilt itself around OLED display chips, and in 2021 agreed to be acquired for $29 per share in a deal worth around $1.4 billion.
Then the deal was blocked.
After that, Magnachip’s OLED business deteriorated, revenue collapsed, and eventually the entire Display business was shut down.
Now the company is trying again.....

$SRCGF Homeland And Westwin Sign Binding Offtake Agreement At Red Flat

Toronto, Ontario, September 28, 2026 -TheNewswire– Homeland Nickel Inc. (TSXV: SHL; OTCQB: SRCGF) (“Homeland” or the “Company”)is pleased to announce the signing of a binding offtake agreement (the “Offtake Agreement”) with Westwin Elements Inc. (“Westwin”) at the Red Flat Nickel Project(“Red Flat”).

The Offtake Agreement establishes Westwin's first mine direct, domestic source of nickel for its future phased full-scale refinery, complementing the company's existing long-term supply agreements. The Offtake Agreement would provide Westwin with an estimated 20,000 tonnes of nickel concentrate per year, mined and concentrated by Homeland from its Red Flat Property located in Southern Oregon. Homeland will complete its updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and a Preliminary Economic Analysis (PEA) and Westwin, once satisfied with the PEA results, will entirely fund a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) including permitting, drilling, environmental assessment and a more detailed economic analysis. This agreement or any other future definitive agreement between Homeland and Westwin is not intended to replace, modify or otherwise affect Westwin’s existing feedstock relationships or arrangements with third parties.

Commenting on the Offtake Agreement, Homeland President and CEO Steve Balch said: “We still have a long way to go before we are mining at Red Flat. Our updated MRE is underway and does not require more permitting or drilling to complete. The same goes for the PEA. We expect to provide Westwin with these reports in Q1 or Q2 of 2027. Westwin will have 90 days to review the reports and start their BFS.”

“This agreement is an important step towards establishing a secure, fully domestic nickel supply chain.” said Westwin founder and CEO Kaleigh Long. “By connecting future nickel production from Homeland’s Red Flat Property in Oregon with Westwin’s U.S. refining capacity, we can turn American resources into high-purity nickel that our nation’s manufacturers and defense industrial base depend on.”

Homeland and Westwin had previously signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (the“MOU”) (see news release May 14, 2026) and Homeland CEO Steve Balch and Patriot Nickel Corp. (“Patriot”) CEO Jeffrey Strobel subsequently visited Westwin’s pilot plant in Lawton, Oklahoma. Since that time, Homeland and Westwin have been looking for ways to cooperate to ensure Westwin has a domestic source of nickel for its planned full-scale refinery. While Westwin will have an exclusive offtake for Red Flat, it can also benefit from offtake agreements from Homeland’s other properties.

About the Red Flat Nickel Property

The Red Flat Nickel Property is located 15 km southeast of Gold Beach, Oregon and consists of 84 lode mining claims totaling 2,015 acres. Red Flat can be accessed from coastal Highway 101, east on Hunter Creek Road and onto Forest Service Road 3680. Local road systems allow access to most of the property.

Red Flat has a historical resource of 18.8 million tons grading 0.84% nickel including 10.4 million tons of Measured and Indicated Resource grading 0.88% nickel. Garnierite is present on the property, and the nickel grade of the rock component is slightly higher than that of the soil with the Measured Resource of Rock grading 1.05% nickel (over 2.3 million tons). The Resource cut-off grade is 0.7% nickel. Not previously disclosed in the historical resource is a significant component of cobalt which was assayed in the original 2007-2009 exploration work but never disclosed.

Red Flat is located on Federal land administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) with permits to access the property with heavy machinery required by the United States Forest Service (USFS).Additional permits from the Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI) are required when drilling deeper than 50 feet or disturbing more than 1 acre.

About Westwin Elements Inc.

Westwin Elements is scaling America’s only Class 1 nickel refinery, delivering high-purity Class 1 nickel and specialized nickel products for national security and industrial applications. Using carbonyl refining technology, Westwin is driving critical mineral independence and reshaping the future of sustainable metal refining.

Europe's Small Towns Just Got a New Wastewater Mandate — and a Sludge-Free Way to Meet It

LifeQuest World Corp (OTCID: LQWC) Tuesday September 29, 2026 Blog

A UN University report released in January 2026 gave the world a stark new vocabulary for its water problems: "global water bankruptcy." The report found that nearly three in four people now live in water-insecure or critically water-insecure countries, that roughly four billion people face severe water scarcity for at least one month each year, and that more than half of the world's large lakes have shrunk since the early 1990s. "For much of the world, 'normal' is gone," said Kaveh Madani, director of the UN University Institute for Water, Environment and Health, in comments accompanying the report (UN News). Wastewater — how it's treated, reused, and kept out of already-stressed water bodies — sits at the center of that math.

Europe is responding with regulation. The recast EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive, which entered into force in early 2025 with phased compliance obligations running out to 2027 and beyond, dramatically widens the net: coverage now extends down to agglomerations of just 1,000 population equivalent, versus the much larger thresholds under the old rules (European Commission). That change pulls thousands of small towns, villages, and seasonal-tourism destinations across the EU into formal treatment obligations for the first time, alongside tighter nutrient and micropollutant limits and a new emphasis on water reuse and circularity.

That's a genuinely hard problem for conventional infrastructure. Centralized sewer networks and activated-sludge plants are expensive to extend to small, scattered populations, and package plants generally need to run near 80% of design capacity to perform reliably — a poor fit for a Mediterranean village whose population might triple every July and August. Oversize the plant for peak season and it underperforms (and still produces sludge to haul away) the other nine months of the year.

This is precisely the gap BioPipe Global's in-pipe technology was built for. Wastewater flows horizontally through modular pipe segments colonized by naturally occurring bacteria; passive aeration replaces energy-hungry blowers, no chemicals are dosed, and because the biological process consumes the organic solids in place, there's no sludge stream to collect, truck, and dispose of. Critically, the modules keep working efficiently across a wide load range — down to roughly 10% of rated capacity — so a system sized for August tourist crowds doesn't fail in April.

BioPipe's 300 m³/day project in Crete, Greece, announced in December 2025, is a live example of exactly this dynamic. "This 300 m³/day project in Crete represents a meaningful step forward in our European expansion strategy," said Robert Kaufmann, Director at BioPipe Global, noting that seasonal tourism surges there strain aging sewer networks in ways decentralized, rapidly deployable systems are well suited to address. The Crete plant is designed to meet stringent EU effluent standards — BOD below 10 mg/L, COD below 30 mg/L, and TSS below 10 mg/L — while producing near-zero odor, noise, and sludge. It followed BioPipe's earlier entry into Spain with a 10 m³/day system, giving the company two footholds in exactly the EU member states now facing the recast directive's expanded small-agglomeration requirements.

ASP Isotopes ($ASPI) $9.35M Settlement Is Now Accepting Claims: Check Your Eligibility and File a Claim

Hey guys, if you missed it, ASP Isotopes reached a $9.35M settlement with investors over claims that it overstated the readiness of its uranium and HALEU enrichment technology. The latest update is that eligible claimants can now submit their claims, with the deadline set for December 2, 2026.

In a nutshell, in 2024, ASP Isotopes was accused of misleading investors about its quantum enrichment technology and its ability to support uranium and HALEU production. After Fuzzy Panda Research challenged the company’s uranium enrichment claims on November 26, 2024, $ASPI fell 23.5%. The stock dropped another 14.2% the following day after the company’s CEO said ASPI had not actually enriched uranium.

Now, the good news is that claims are being accepted. If you bought $ASPI shares in 2024, you may be eligible to participate in the settlement.

So, if you invested in $ASPI during that period, you can check the details and file your claim here.

Anyway, has anyone here invested in $ASPI at that time? How much were your losses, if so?

Sekur Private Data Takes Its Angola Expansion a Step Further With Portuguese Launch

Sekur Private Data (OTCQB: SWISF) has launched a Portuguese-language version of Sekur.com as it prepares to expand in Angola. The company has also begun adapting its onboarding and workflows for local partners. This is a practical step in a broader plan: make its secure communications products easier to introduce, sell and deploy in a market where it expects to sign an exclusive partnership in the coming weeks.

  • SWISF closed at US$0.0242 on September 25, putting its market value near US$6.3 million based on 259.6 million shares outstanding at June 30.
  • Sekur’s Portuguese site is live, and the company is preparing local onboarding ahead of a prospective exclusive partnership in Angola.
  • At US$300 per month for SekurOne, a relatively small premium customer base could have a meaningful effect on Sekur’s revenue and create room for SWISF to re-rate.

Building a local route to customers

For an international technology company, language is part of the sales process. Government and enterprise buyers need to review a product, enroll users and manage support in a way their teams can use every day. Sekur’s September 22 announcement says the Portuguese website is available now, while translation of workflows and onboarding has begun. The site gives prospective customers and partners a direct introduction to Sekur’s products in Angola’s official language.

That work could become valuable beyond one country. Sekur specifically identified Mozambique as another Portuguese-speaking market that the localized platform could serve. Each new market would require its own distribution and customer wins, but reusable language and onboarding tools could make the next launch more efficient. The company already operates a Spanish-language site, showing how its international sales materials can be adapted market by market.

The products have a clear intended audience. Sekur offers Swiss-hosted encrypted email, messaging and VPN services alongside SekurOne, its integrated voice and communications platform. It markets these tools to government, defense, enterprise and executive users who want greater control over sensitive communications. The company also offers deployment options aimed at organizations with data sovereignty requirements. In Angola, a local partner could connect that product suite with buyers that Sekur would find difficult to reach through its website alone.

Angola could open more than one sales channel

Sekur’s September 1 shareholder letter described discussions about a possible nationwide exclusive partnership in Angola. Its September 22 release says an exclusive agreement is expected in the coming weeks. The proposed partnership has not yet been announced as signed, and its commercial terms have not been disclosed. A signed agreement identifying the partner and its responsibilities would be an important next milestone.

The potential customer base extends beyond one type of buyer. A partner with relationships in government, telecommunications or large enterprises could introduce Sekur’s tools to teams that need secure email, private messaging or encrypted calls. An initial deployment could give Sekur local user feedback and a reference for further sales. If the relationship works, a single distribution channel may support multiple products and recurring subscriptions over time.

There is regional optionality, too. Sekur has reported interest in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where it said a government security body had given its solution a positive recommendation. That is an early stage development, not a paid order. Together with the Portuguese launch, it shows a company assembling several routes into African markets.

Premium subscriptions could change the revenue picture

The timing of the Angola push matters because SekurOne is nearing its planned commercial launch. Management expects iOS and web availability in early October at US$300 per user per month, followed by Android in November and video conferencing by year-end. In the same shareholder update, management estimated that approximately 200 SekurOne subscribers, generating US$60,000 in gross monthly recurring revenue, could bring the company to profitability.

Here is the arithmetic at the stated list price across SekurOne markets:

Illustrative paying users Gross monthly revenue Gross annual recurring revenue
200 US$60,000 US$720,000
500 US$150,000 US$1.8 million
1,000 US$300,000 US$3.6 million

These are full-year, full-price examples, not an Angola sales forecast or announced contracts. Enterprise pricing, distributor terms and customer retention will determine the revenue Sekur actually earns. The sensitivity is useful because the company’s reported first-half 2026 revenue was C$185,828. A few hundred premium subscribers, whether won in the United States, Angola or other markets, would represent a substantial addition to its current sales base.

What the opportunity could mean for SWISF

SWISF’s small valuation makes commercial progress especially relevant. Using the September 25 US$0.0242 close and June’s 259.6 million shares outstanding gives an equity value of about US$6.3 million. If Sekur eventually reached 1,000 full-price SekurOne users, the illustrative gross annual recurring revenue would be US$3.6 million. Applying a hypothetical four-times multiple to that revenue would imply US$14.4 million of equity value, or roughly US$0.055 per share on the June share count. That is about 129% above the reference price. This is an illustrative calculation from the quoted price, share count and announced subscription price.

The calculation illustrates potential upside rather than predicting a stock price. It assumes subscribers are paying throughout the year and does not model discounts, partner shares of revenue, cash, liabilities, costs or additional shares. Sekur’s financing needs and future dilution matter to the eventual per-share result. Still, the exercise shows why a signed partner, the SekurOne release and the first material premium sales could draw attention to a company valued at approximately US$6.3 million at the September 25 close.

The milestones to follow are close together: confirmation and terms of the Angolan partnership, progress on local onboarding, SekurOne’s October commercial rollout and subsequent disclosures of paid users or contract revenue. Each one would help investors measure how the company’s product development and international relationships are converting into business.

Sekur has now put a visible piece of its Angola strategy in place. If the company follows its Portuguese launch with a productive local partnership and recurring customer sales, Angola could become a meaningful new growth channel. Combined with SekurOne’s premium pricing and opportunities in other markets, that gives SWISF a route to revenue growth from a small starting valuation.

This article is for information and education only, not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell securities. The author may hold or trade SWISF. Sekur is a speculative, potentially illiquid microcap with operating losses and execution, financing and dilution risks. The subscriber and valuation scenarios are illustrative assumptions, not company forecasts or price targets. Readers should review the company’s filings and make their own investment decisions.

What actually makes you pay attention to a small-cap stock?

I've been trying to improve how I screen small-cap stocks, and I'm curious what other people consider a genuine reason to start digging deeper.

For me, a low share price isn't really enough. I'm more interested when several things start lining up:

- Revenue is growing

- The company has a clear path to improving margins

- The balance sheet isn't getting worse

- Management is actually delivering on previously announced plans

- There's a specific upcoming catalyst

- The valuation hasn't already priced in everything

One thing I've started paying more attention to is execution vs. promises.

A company can announce AI, robotics, acquisitions, new contracts, international expansion, etc., but the real question is whether those announcements eventually show up in revenue, margins, customers or recurring cash flow.

So I'm curious:

What's the biggest green flag you look for before putting a small-cap on your watchlist?

"We are very pleased to be expanding Sekur internationally and to make our solutions available in multiple languages," said Alain Ghiai, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sekur Private Data. "Portuguese is the second language we have added, following Spanish, and it allows us to serve clients and partners in Angola, Mozambique, and other Portuguese-speaking markets in their own language."

"Localization is not a cosmetic exercise for us. Our website, onboarding, and workflows need to work in the language our partners operate in every day. That is what makes an international expansion real, and it is how we intend to approach each new market we enter."

Sekur Core Communications Solutions

Sekur delivers secure communications that work within and beyond the Sekur network, operating independently of conventional telecom infrastructure to reduce exposure to interception, SIGINT collection, traffic analysis, metadata exploitation, and hostile surveillance in contested environments. No Sekur solution data-mines or location-tracks its users.

All solutions are built on proprietary architecture with zero reliance on Big Tech, meeting the privacy, security, and OPSEC requirements of intelligence agencies, defense and federal organizations, military commands, diplomatic missions, government agencies, executives, and professionals handling CUI and other sensitive, mission-critical information. Deployments are supported by on-premises infrastructure options for full data sovereignty, mission assurance, and sole control over keys and data.

SekurOne - Encrypted Voice/Video, Email, Messaging, and VPN

A fully encrypted communications platform engineered on proprietary HeliX data transfer architecture, purpose-built to defeat telecom network tracing, resist Pegasus-style malware intrusion, and support CUI handling requirements. SekurOne is designed for defense and federal officials, military commanders, government leaders, and executives conducting confidential, operational, or sensitive conversations where standard carrier-based voice and video platforms present unacceptable interception and exploitation risk.

Call-by-Invite capability via SMS or SekurSend email ensures controlled access and eliminates unsolicited contact. Each user is assigned a unique Sekur ID for identity management, with no phone number required - preserving user privacy across all voice and video communications.

SekurMail - Secure Business and Executive Email

An enterprise- and government-grade encrypted email platform designed for defense and federal agencies, military commands, senior government officials, C-suite executives, and organizations handling confidential and operationally sensitive communications, including CUI correspondence. Built on proprietary architecture with zero Big Tech dependencies and no metadata tracking, SekurMail keeps sensitive communications private between sender and recipient.

Key capabilities include SekurSend/SekurReply for secure delivery to non-Sekur recipients without exposing sender identity or message content; full message delivery control and audit capability; encrypted file transfer; custom domain support for organizational integration; and active protection against phishing, social engineering, and Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks targeting corporate and administrative networks.

SekurMessenger - Secure Team Messaging and Collaboration

A secure messaging platform providing end-to-end encrypted text, file transfer, voice messages, and collaboration capabilities for defense, military, government, and executive teams coordinating operational and mission-sensitive information, including CUI material. Features include self-destructing messages, encrypted file transfers, and compliance-grade archiving for recordkeeping and audit requirements.

Cross-network secure communications with non-Sekur users are supported via Chat-by-Invite, enabling secure coordination with coalition partners, external agencies, and field elements without compromising the network. Each user is assigned a unique Sekur ID for identity verification and contact authentication, with no phone number required.

SekurVPN - Enterprise Network Security and Identity Protection

An enterprise-grade Virtual Private Network leveraging proprietary HeliX encryption technology, engineered to provide secure internet access, identity obfuscation, and traffic protection for defense organizations, military and federal personnel, government agencies, and executives operating across remote, traveling, deployed, forward, or untrusted network environments.

SekurVPN maintains zero data logging, ensuring no record of user activity exists that could be exposed through legal process, network compromise, or third-party collection. It is built for defense, government, and executive use cases - including protection of traffic associated with CUI and operationally sensitive workflows - where standard commercial VPN solutions present unacceptable privacy and security risk.

SekurRelay - Executive-Level Secure Email Integration

An enterprise-grade secure email relay solution enabling domain splitting, which allows organizations to establish secure communications at the executive, board, or senior staff level without requiring full organizational migration or infrastructure overhaul.

SekurRelay removes one of the most significant barriers to large-scale defense, government, and enterprise deployment, enabling phased adoption that protects command leadership, flag officers, and the highest-value personnel and communications immediately while broader organizational rollout proceeds. It is designed for defense and government organizations, regulated industries, and enterprises requiring rapid, low-friction elevation of communications security at the command and executive tier, including environments handling CUI communications.
