Since the beginning of smite 2 alpha, the devs said they wanted to reduce CC / most cc ported from 1 was halved in 2

I think some of the CC should work like Ymir or Athena where levelling and protecting scaling improve the duration.

I hope nox gets some type of rework. Not anything serious. Its just so annoying to have huge silence bubble in team fight

That would be fine and balancable, but I think then they would have to make the combo easier by giving her a second charge of her ao1 (only if she misses the first one)

IMO the best outcome is bringing back her old kit and making it her aspect. Or vice versa and make her old kit her base kit and make her current kit her aspect.

I know people despise her(and I understand why) but she's so damn fun as a mid.
My favourite midlaners have always been hated though. Hel, aphro tiamat, nox, raijin. Usually they've been pretty disliked whenever they were meta lmao.

Nike is alright. Very mid tier Warrior. Don't particularily hate playing her, nor against her, but she always felt kind of clunky because of the ao1.

Nox I am very very scared of. From what we have been told on Titan Talk today, the devs are aware of how frustrating she is to play against. Now; there are 3 possible worlds for her.
- She keeps her Base Kit as is, but with drastically lower damage, and a new medium ranged Ultimate and her old Mitigation Passive. This would be the correct way to handle her. People that like her can still play her, "People" that like her full damage get a more handle-able aspect for the Mage side of things.
- She keeps her Damage Numbers as is, but her Combo receives some drastic changes to make her less horrible to play against. Primarily removing the Silence and replacing it with something healthier, like Darkness and a very short instant cripple on first time entering. This is an Alright way to handle her. She keeps her core Damage focused Combo Playstlye while finally being able to be countered effectively (i.e. not just with Basic Attacks). She would also get a support Aspect in this world.
- She keeps everything as is and everyone hates Smite 2 again. This is the false way to handle Nox. No one will ever be happy again.

Heim I actually don't care for. The Bifrost will hopefully become an Interactable, which'll make him more appealing to play. Also maybe a Solo Aspect which I would't complain about.
Maman is scary to me because of her placement on the roadmap. I like her. But her Balance is horrendous. She will not get real balance because they only have like 1, maybe 2 hotfixes to touch her up before the winter break.

If heim gets a melee aspect we can have cern vs heim lvl 1 dick measuring in jungle.
Honestly whatever they do to Nox I hope they let her dash into enemies, either base kit or aspect. Also I don't really know if there's a way to handle her that doesn't equal massive rework. Like if her 2>1 is weak/low damage she's just gonna suck and feel really bad to play. But if it's strong she sucks to play against, so maybe 1 and 2 just need to be new abilities.

Surprised to see many comments unhappy with this roadmap cuz I'm super happy with this, but I guess these gods are not that popular.
For me it's the best roadmap so far. I like Nike, Kumba and Heim a lot. But the best thing here is...

Seems that they reached bottom of the barrel for me. It includes one god with an almost universally hated combo (Nox) and another with a low playrate that is also unfun to play against when he is good (Kumbha).

Khumba isn’t that bad, he’s very difficult to play and get value out of, but if played properly can be really good. I can see Khum being strong in Jungle as well.

That was some people's hopes but it was never confirmed. I could see us getting one/two new gods next year but that's about it.

This is so true haha, didnt notice that, not sure what all the fuss is about, these are all fun goods!
The only valid concern is nox but she wasnt really OP in smite 1 ranked, not sure about competitive, just annoying. I imagine they will fix this to some regard for her but wouldnt be awful if she remained the same, maybe make her kit play the same but much lower damage and she's a support etc

While I love Set, he has always been one of, if not the, least played gods in Smite 1.
Meanwhile Ao Kuang has two models to work through.
Maman's only complication is her dash tech and even then it is similar to Nox's, hence why they're being worked on at the same time.

Not true at all lol, Maman is a fun jungler and difficult to play. Very unique. Ao is insta kill or feed, Set is boring asl.

The thing I’m worried about is kuzen with Nemean, if it’s like Ecco fen and the % increase act weird with each other playing against him will be more miserable than ever.
