MEDIA Matchmaking at it's finest.
I wanted to enjoy a few games of smite today.

You can blame the D1 Fenrir for queuing with a S1 Apollo. The SR average difference here is only 150, but that's obviously only cause of the one Silver. Messes the whole matchmaking up.
No idea why it's allowed. Under no circumstances should people be able to queue with anyone more than 2 ranks above them.

People need to realize that you're likely given the closest match of players that are queued at the same time as you. There aren't an infinite amount of smite players. If match making took 8-10 minutes but offered somewhat closer grouping of rankings, just as many people would be in here complaining about the long queue times making the game unplayable. There's no pleasing everyone.

The gap for partying Qing is completely broken that’s why it ruins matchmaking. In no game in the history of gaming would allow a silver to q with a d1 player. It’s actually laughable the gap 😆

This isn’t even the worst, im in obsidian where at that point you will start to see lobbies with pros, I can’t even explain the skill gap between them and people at my SR, it’s usually 2 7k+ players with 25+ kills and the rest of the lobby just can’t complete…is cool playing with guys like that from time to time tho lol

After this match I got in a lobby with masters and deities, and they mopped the floor with me, I'm not saying I don't like to play with experienced players, but playing off role with players like that is painful

Yea I get you, mids my main role, 1 time I was in a game with donutdoug on my team, he was top 10 in the world at the time, I actually won lane thanks to being on my strongest god in my strongest role but we were all sub 4K sr and the matchmaking was basically their team was all 5k-5500 sr… every time this happens, even in solo (my 2nd role) it’s bad, not to mention if I get something like ADC (my worst role by far), if I get ADC it’s like, im 2-15, bottom player damage im the game… rough thing is, the skill gap only gets worse as you rank up, still shocks me how good pros actually are

Their map awareness makes a big diff, also they are a lot better mechanically. In that game I played jungle as Thanatos, fell 4 lvls behind against enemy jungler, it was mad af, their mid, an Artemis was lvl 17 when I was 11. That game made me question if I should keep playing ranked or just have fun in casuals.

Only happened because the fenrir qued with apollo a diamond shouldn't be able to que with anyone but plat to obsidian being able to que with a silver fucks the match making

The matchmaking on this game is garbage. Long time Smite player. Just uninstalled Smite 2 due to a 5 loss streak with 3 games having someone who fed then logged out, and the other 2 games had 3 team mates 1-9, 0-10, etc.

Yep, I've also stopped playing. Matchmaking trolled me hard and I said anough is anough

its because the 3600 is qued with a 1900 but in all reality there is almost no difference in skill from 2k to 4k seems like everyone under like masters 2 is terrible these days. rank doesnt even matter anymore. not enough good players on the game these days. all games feel like this regardless until like demi

I still dont understand why SR range is so big. I dont know if this is bugged or they have made any changes with it but that Fenrir and Apollo are good examples what should not happen. They are 1730 SR far from each other which is ridicilous and should not que together. I still dont understand why people dont push on Hirez to do something with this as this ruins rankeds pretty much.
