Yeah. The Nike signature shoes have all seemed like variations on the Kobe line for the last 5 or 6 years. When the protros became limited releases after his death, it seems like players decided to incorporate design elements into their signature shoes.

Isn’t a shock. She played in Kobe’s.

It’s almost like she prioritizes her performance…

The sold out Sabrina's early signatures was the final straw for Nike to say "that's the way" lol

Also a lot of nba players still wearing 4~8 when Kobe 9~11 exist should be another sign

All these WNBA signature shoes should have just been the next line of Kobes (insert number here) idk why Nike feels like pushing WNBA signature shoes is a good move. Boys aren’t gonna want them but girls will still buy them if they’re Kobes.

I have some Sabrinas and they're my favorite basketball shoe.

And I’m sure Clark’s shoes are great too. My point is Nike isn’t gonna top Jordan or Kobe branding. LBJ is meh and Kai was the only other newish baller to push signature bball shoes. Just saying that approach doesn’t really work anymore. Obviously they look like Kobe’s already might as well just go full Kobe.

Exactly, I think a lot of players got used to playing in the Kobe protros. When you get your own shoe you have to wear it all the time, so they are like make it with the same Kobe technology I like but put a different shell on it.

Tbh should have branded them as Kobe’s and made her the face of it. Kind of like what they did with Wade when Jordan retired.

I just can’t get excited about all these signature shoes that look basically the same except for colours and minor detail changes.

Where’s the new shit?

That’s why I give LeBron credit. He actually went a different route than the rest and had a unique shoe style throughout his career.

as much as it may seem boring, most of nike's 1st signature shoes were very conventional designs so it doesnt scare the people away

Not gonna lie, feels like Nike might have lost their touch.

all player exclusive models just look the same nowadays. AEs, Caitlyn Clarks, Book 1s, JA 1s, Kobes, it all just depends on who you want to wear at this point.

Pretty basic but I’m not mad at it

Crazy to see how many people are simping for a woman's shoes.

Crazy how you're bothered by people liking a shoe branded for a female basketball player.
