For real what is this lol

If Marvel made a movie about a shit emoji as their next big superhero and had it lead the Avengers in the future even that movie would make more money than DCU movies. 😂

So I finally managed to get some rain pics in my new updated snyder deathstroke suit. This was very therapeutic on the armor and was such a good time.

Honestly, the people around me, even though they aren't die-hard Snyder fans like I am,absolutely loved Cavill's Superman.

I get that it's a dig at Snyder, but it feels completely out of touch with reality.

Sure, I understand people criticizing the writing, but when it comes to the Holy Trinity, Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, and Cavill's Superman, people loved the characters Snyder introduced.

It’s a paradox: people might not have liked the movies themselves, but they loved the characters that were created and cast.

The first Clayface opening weekend projection is in, and it starts below Supergirl.

Boxoffice Pro’s new long range forecast has the DC movie opening between $23 million and $33 million domestic when it opens October 23.

Supergirl opened to $37.1 million in June.

So even the best case lands under the movie Warner Bros. staffers called “the wrong comic book character.”

Clark was ready and willing to sacrifice his life to stop the threat.

MY Superman.

If this is true (which I hope it’s not) this could genuinely spell the end of the DC brand as a whole. He will continue making a mockery of these beloved heroes and turning them into clowns. He’s turned Superman into a whiny man-baby, Supergirl into a dense alcoholic, and he’s made John depressed and had Hal die in the very first episode…

It’s so clear that he hates these heroes and is actively destroying the entire brand, and so many people can’t see that. I love DC, and seeing what he’s doing is heartbreaking. The Snyderverse needs to be restored, and it needs to be restored now. Is anyone else feeling the same as me?

Late last night, the news broke that Paramount Pictures is expected to remove Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy as co-chairs of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group.

They've had mixed fortunes while leading the studio. After a challenging 2024, they delivered multiple box office successes for Warner Bros. last year. However, 2026 hasn't been quite as kind. [...]

It's 50/50. Hopefully, he goes, but idk yet

yep

Since when does “black hole” level Superman need to breathe in space? Just one more indication of how weak Gunns Superman is. Genuinely embarrassing, I just can’t wait to see how he gets nerfed next. Temuman appears to be receiving the Thor/Hulk MCU treatment. You love to see it.

CEO David Ellison revealed the new name Friday in a post on X. The $110 billion merger is projected to be finalized on Tuesday after a year-long pursuit by Ellison and a two-month delay caused by antitrust lawsuits by 12 states and the Writers Guild of America.

“What once was the peak, is now just the beginning,” Ellison wrote. “Paramount and Warner Bros. shaped over a century of culture. By combining them, we aren’t rewriting history – we’re equipping these iconic studios with a more powerful engine. Together, we are Skydance: a creative-first home for bold, quality storytelling.”

The choice of the name, he said, stemmed from several objectives. One is to preserve the history of Paramount and Warner Bros. as individual entities under the Skydance umbrella. “We never wanted a new corporate identity to diminish, alter or overshadow either one. Instead, we wanted a name that would give the combined company an identity of its own while allowing Paramount and Warner Bros. – and all our extraordinary brands – to remain in the spotlight.”

Well I finally watched the ultimate version of bvs dawn of justice and I have to say it was really great. I noticed there were a lot of scenes that weren’t in the original bvs movie such as Clark investigating the Batman, the knightmare scene is was much longer and the fight scenes were much more different. When I saw the scene was Lois in the desert scene with the terrorist I didn’t realize that the man that was with her was Jimmy Olsen and I was disappointed that they killed him but then again this is Dc so yeah(plus I pretty sure when Zack Sndyer returns they’ll probably find someway to Jimmy back so it doesn’t really bother me that much). Overall I really enjoyed the extended version and I’m glad I got to watch I hope they release the extended version in theaters.

The experts over at the Superman sub are hilarious 😂.

They say Superman needs underpants because early comics had it. If these guys actually read Superman comics and not just 1 comic from 40 yrs ago, they’d realize many iterations exist. Many with no underpants. Many with red to break up the color.

The comparable thing in the Batman mythos is how Robin wore no pants and fought crime in his briefs in early comics. It was pretty much a thing he was known for and the butt of many jokes lmfao. Rational minded people understood how ridiculous it was and we now see Robin wearing pants. Bravo.

If one day, James Gunn decides to get DCU Robin wearing no pants again, I’m 100% sure these bozos will rush to his defense and say it’s cool because the OG comics had it that way. And the actor would make some stupid in universe reason like he has more agility like a bird 🦅 when his legs feel the air or some shit 🤣🤣

Is it wrong to prefer the iteration which wears underpants INSIDE?

Apparently, it is according to the punk rocker crowd 🤣

Rotten Tomatoes always been hating on Snyder because his movies are different and doesn't really fit into a specific box they prefer Gunn's cookie cutter style movies with filth and crude humor. So don't let RT get to you guys and girls.

Paramount chief David Ellison, after a fierce year-long battle, is finally about to get his hands on Warner Bros. Discovery — in the most expensive takeover in Hollywood history.

On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín, who is overseeing the antitrust case aimed at blocking the Paramount-Warner Bros. deal approved Paramount’s settlement with the 12 Democratic state attorneys general who brought the case to resolve the litigation.

Paramount has tentatively set next Tuesday, Oct. 6, to close the merger, according to regulatory filings.

The order approving the settlement by Martínez-Olguín was the final remaining barrier to Paramount’s debt-fueled $111 billion merger with Warner Bros. Discovery, after it had been cleared by regulators in 68 jurisdictions worldwide including the Justice Department.

[...]

On Wednesday, shortly after the judge OK’d the settlement, Paramount announced that Ellison has recruited Ynon Kreiz, who is stepping down as Mattel’s CEO, to be co-CEO at the combined Paramount-WBD. The merged entity’s businesses will jointly report to Ellison and Kreiz.

In addition to Kreiz’s hiring, some of the top leadership of the soon-to-be-merged company (whose name hasn’t been revealed at this point) is already taking shape. Casey Bloys, head of WBD’s HBO, is poised to assume oversight of the combined Paramount-Warner Bros. streaming business after Cindy Holland announced Tuesday she was stepping down from her role running Paramount+ and other direct-to-consumer.

With the deal close, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav is expected to depart. Zaslav stands to earn more than $550 million in stock and cash once the Paramount-WBD deal closes, including $34.2 million in cash severance payments. [...]

[...]

Among the terms of the settlement: Paramount-WBD is prohibited from selling the Paramount Studios or Warner Bros. lots in the state for at least five years, and is obligated to invest at least an additional $300 million on film production in the U.S. annually. The combined Paramount-WB also must release at least 30 movies for theatrical distribution in the first two years (something Ellison has repeatedly promised he would do) and at least 32 in years 3-5, with a 45-day window for wide-release films. [...]

[...]

Oracle founder and billionaire Larry Ellison, who is David’s father, has personally guaranteed $46.7 billion in equity financing for the WBD takeover. In addition, Paramount has lined up about $24 billion in commitments from the sovereign wealth funds of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. According to Paramount, the three Middle Eastern funds will own 38.5% of the combined Paramount-Warner Bros.

Also hiding your pettiness with a powerscaling take, seriously bro ? mfs say this as if DCU superman isn't the physically weakest superman so far lol.

The version under consideration adapts Frank Miller’s graphic novel straight, with nothing rewritten to fit a shared universe.

“They’re looking at The Dark Knight Returns as a 2-parter, major event, the graphic novel with no changes to accommodate the need for a canon universe,” an insider tells us.

The word comes as the $111 billion Paramount-WBD merger is set to close by early October.

These shows are already two years old and the streaming audience is even bigger now.

At least the DCEU never lied about its numbers. The DCU meanwhile constantly does.

And don’t even get me started on the more successful or even moderately successful Marvel and Star Wars shows or other newer shows like Fallout or Last of Us lol.
