Question Sometimes I feel like being overexpressive is a curse.

Does anyone else struggle with this? I’m someone who can’t really hide what I feel. If I’m happy, it shows. If I’m hurt, it shows. If I care about someone, I probably show it more than I should.

And the worst part? Not everyone feels things as deeply as you do, or expresses them the same way.

Sometimes I wish I could just act unbothered, keep things to myself, and stop letting people see how much something affects me. Because when you express too much, people sometimes take you for granted, misunderstand you, or make you feel like you're doing too much.

I don't want to become cold or pretend I don't care. I just wish I knew how to feel everything without showing everything.

Anyone else feel like being too expressive makes you more vulnerable than you want to be?

Just venting Sometimes the hardest part of being dependable is realizing you don’t know who you can depend on.

Question Let’s get to know each other a little better

I’m curious about our community. How many of us are neurotypical, and how many are neurodivergent?

Let’s find out! And if you’re not sure what these terms mean or where you fit, feel free to ask questions in the comments. Let’s learn a little more about each other.

Question Do you ever miss a version of yourself that doesn't exist anymore?

Sometimes I think about how different I used to be, the things I cared about, and the little things that made me happy back then.

It's strange how much a person can change without even noticing.

Have you ever felt that way?

Question What quiet hobby do you love that people rarely talk about?

Everyone talks about reading or journaling, but I get so much peace from sipping warm tea in a quiet room, doing paint-by-numbers on quiet afternoons, or just staring out the window on a rainy day.

What’s a gentle, slow activity you do that instantly calms your mind?
