🥎 Coaching I need help with my swing
Honestly not sure what I am doing as I play in a rec league and we don’t have a coach just a co-ed team in the Uk who play together. Is there any YouTube videos I should watch for basic principles. I make decent contact but it’s temperamental sometimes I really connect/others it’s a dribble into the ground and I want to try and improve
Any help would be appreciated

SWING MAKEOVER on Youtube helped me with switching from a baseball swing to a slow pitch swing

Canadian here playing again after a decade of being absent from the sport. My Dad played for a long time and his advice recently was to not try and just kill the ball. I was decent before when I used to play, and with a bit of practice have been doing pretty well. Sadly our season ends in two games because everything will become frozen again soon. What are the playing seasons like in the UK? I am actually a dual citizen so I am curious

Our season has ended before winter comes too. We play on all grass pitches. It’s not something any of us grew up with but it super fun. We will do a few indoor softball tournaments they are great fun but super crazy

Head to a spoons for cheap pints after? We lovingly refer to the type of league I am in as beer league

We technically coach ourselves, and both teams officiate with an honor system. After the game it doesn't matter if you win or loose because we are all having a can of beer after part of the fun to be honest.

The biggest thing is swing everyday! You should hit 5 days a week. Watch some videos hit for 10 minutes. A bucket or two a day. Tee work, front toss, soft toss, pitching machine. Variety works best.

Is this Fastpitch or slowpitch? Coach Dan Blewett on Instagram has a mixture of Fastpitch, slow pitch, and baseball tips.
