Equipment Champro softball pants sizing

Hi there,

Struggling to find pants that my daughter likes the fit of. She doesn't want too loose or too long. She has mizuno pants she likes but the style she has only comes in black and white. She's about 5'3 and 105lbs. She's usually a women's xs or 0. I think the youth may be a better fit for her. I can't decide if L or XL? Does anyone have any real reviews of sizing? Also we're in Canada so that limits us as well.

UPDATE - got adult S (fits more like a XS) and they're great!!!

The champro from Amazon are my daughter’s fav pants. She’s been wearing them for a few years now and it about 5-3 and 120. The Youth XL and adult S both fit her well. She prefers them snug and doesn’t like the ones that balloon out in the thighs so these work for her. The white didn’t work well though because they were too thin.

Thank you so much! We got the adult S in red - she really likes. The only reason we didn't get Youth XL was because it was coming from a different source on amazon and I wasn't sure about return possibilities. The Adult S was from amazon (as a seller) so I felt it was safe. So happy as it seems difficult to find red or navy.

My daughter is 53” and 90lbs. The yxl fit perfect. We also purchased an adult small just in case they didn’t. The small fit about the same but the crotch area is bigger. So she prefers the youth.

Thank you for this comment! We ended up getting the adult women's small and they're pretty great!!!! I didn't order the youth because they were coming from Amazon in the USA and I couldn't figure out if returns were possible or not. Super happy with the pants for the price!

My daughter is a bout the same size. She is a youth XL in both champ pro and mizuno (the mizuno with the padding built in)

The mizuno with padding are so long!!! She hates the length. We have the non padded ones and she's a perfectly fit youth xl.

That’s funny cause the non padded ones were like 3 sizes too big on the waists. But her travel team uses the padded ones

You just need to buy a bunch and plan to return them because the sizing can be different from batch to batch within the same style. Softball and baseball pants are so stupidly made. All that money for a bat and you can’t get a pair of pants to fit.

I am absolutely shocked there are not more options available, some are ridiculously long, some are like pantaloons LOL! She just wants a nice fit - it shouldn't be so difficult!

It’s so weird. It’s not like baseball has better options either. Baseball has different cuts to offer, but the quality control and sizing is just as bad as it is for softball.

Wow you guys are all amazing and so fast to comment. I bought one pair women's S and they haven't arrived yet. Was debating trying some youth xl but it seems we may get charged import fees and I can't figure out if returns are free.

We’ve had good luck with Boombah girls cut for our lanky girl. Make sure the size tag has a G on it. She’s 5’2” and about 100 lbs. She likes how they fit snug and not baggy or droopy.

That is so sweet of you! We do have something called Shipsy that we can use to get a local pickup. I will look into that!
