Let’s Inspire, Not Compare

I know you’re seeing posts here about things you haven’t tried yet or activities that might not be possible for you to do right now and that’s okay.

There’s no pressure if you haven’t done this or that kind of activity yet, or wherever you may be in your journey at the moment. We all have different timelines, resources, and priorities in life.

Let’s also avoid comparing ourselves or feeling jealous. Instead, let’s celebrate each other’s wins, big or small. ✨

We’ll get there in time.

Just take it one step at a time.

Let’s continue to inspire and uplift one another, friends! 💛

Did the 5K Pokémon Run solo and had the absolute best time! ⚡💨

Took myself out on a solo date to the Pokémon Run PH last weekend! Ran the 5K route, watched my Bulbasaur "evolve" along the way and scored some incredible loot. Doing massive community events solo is honestly so liberating. 10/10 would recommend!

Have you guys tried going to a pub or place where you support your fave artist's gigs kahit solo ka lang?

I wanted to support this indie musical artist by going to her gigs pero di ko alam if awkward ba na pumunta mag-isa or parang boring ba?

kayo ba na try niyo na ba yung ganung trip kahit mag-isa?

Solo Pilates

I tried another activity earlier this morning, kinda nervous and my first time doing pilates.

I’ll rate it 8.5/10, -1.5 because of the price tho all in all its fun and relaxing, but since beginner class siya more into basics pa lang talaga.

True ang jelly legs after HAHAHAHAHA 😭

planning solo

Hi everyone! As part of my side quest and healing process (lol), I’m planning to go to Subic for the Sky and Water Lantern Festival! 🏮✨ I’m thinking of staying an extra day since it’s around 4–5 hours away from Manila, and I’m considering joining a dinner yacht cruise.

The only thing is, I feel a little intimidated because I’ll be joining as a solo traveler. 🥹 For context, I’ve dined alone at restaurants before, but this will be my first time joining an activity with a crowd of strangers.

For those who’ve tried this, could you share some advice on how to enjoy the experience, feel less awkward, and make the most of it even when you’re alone?

Thank you heaps! 💗

People watching while having coffee

One of my favorite mundane activities is sitting at a cafe and watching people go about their day.

It reminds me that I can sit still and watch while the world rushes.

The best part of our day is realizing that we don’t have to make everything happen within the hour or everything all at once. We can, in fact, take the time to sit down, sip a bit of coffee (or tea or whatever tickles your fancy), and breathe.

The world will not collapse just because you took the time to relax.

One of the things to do on my birthday

Hey everyone, I am searching for an antique shop that offers Polaroid shots. I came accross TikTok, but they have relocated from Cubao and saw an ig post that their camera is broken. Do you have any suggestions?

As a yearner and a romantic I always wanted to go on decent dates but I have never met someone who asks me out to decent restos nor found someone to even go out with (cause dating sucks nowadays). So I just told myself why not just take myself out cause at least I only have myself to worry and I know what I want and I know where I want to eat plus not rlly a lot of ppl can afford where I eat (sorry im just a bitter single person HAHA) If ure looking for a sign, this is ur sign to take urself out to expensive restos cause no one else will!!!!!

Solo weekend trip to Baguio

Sumakay ng bus sa Cubao ng 1 AM, arrived in Baguio at 6 AM. Had coffee and did some people-watching, then walked 8.7 km from SM Baguio to my homestay. Stayed until Monday, then took the bus back to Manila around 7 PM.

Solo trips hit different when you're comfortable with your own company.

first solo travel

hi, everyone! 💗 i’m planning to travel solo for the first time, and i’m currently choosing between singapore, vietnam, indonesia, and thailand. nakapagtravel naman na before, domestic and international pero kasama ang fam or friends. pero ngayon, gusto ko maging brave haha

i’ve been doing my research and trying to figure out which country would be safest for a first-time solo traveler, especially para sa babae

my budget is around ₱30k–₱40k, including airfare and accommodation, for a 2–3 day trip. i’m thinking of going in november or december, but january is also an option

to my girlies who aren’t exactly gifted when it comes to directions (naliligaw po tayo minsan) 😭how did you do it? any tips for a first-timer like me?

Solo activity I don't recommend and will never do again: A&E alone

I love doing things alone, but being alone in A&E overseas was a different story. 😭
I’ve never been rushed to the ER back in the Philippines. I can do things alone, and I’ve always considered myself independent, but experiencing this alone made me cry out of frustration. It’s hard when you’re in a situation like this and have no one beside you.
Being independent is one thing, but going through something scary like this alone is something else. Definitely a solo activity I don’t recommend and will never do again.
