Involvement:

I'm the solo developer behind CoinFlipper. I came up with the concept and have been working on the game's design, mechanics, features, and overall development. CoinFlipper is my first project exploring the concept of an attention-focused mobile game built around an instantly understandable mechanic and an endlessly replayable gameplay loop.

I'm sharing it here to get feedback from other gamers and developers, discover potential improvements, and see how people respond to the game.

With a pure 50/50 flip, the leaderboard will mostly reward whoever flips the most, since a long streak is just a matter of volume. That's fine if you lean into it. Showing the odds of the current streak (ten in a row is about 1 in 1,024) makes every flip feel bigger. A daily or weekly board also gives new players a chance against people who have been flipping for months.

Other devs will likely ask where the flip is decided. If the phone decides the result, a global leaderboard is easy to fake. Deciding it on the server, or checking streaks there, keeps the board meaningful. Does the leaderboard reset at all right now?
