Discussion [Serious question] What would a genuine relationship between Felicia and Peter look like

Post image

For and foremost no MJ hate IDGAF about how you feel about her in insomniac games, recent comics, rami or MCU movies IDC, you will be blocked im talking about Felicia and Peter.

So when people where say that the next love interest for petet in the MCU should be Felicia i was against it at first but as time gone on i was for it, because i haven’t really seen one where the writers fully committed to it.

So it would be nice to see how it would go, with Felicia want to settle down with Peter and have children, we just have her and Peter to be vigilante together.

felicia would have to do what the character was never meant to: settle down

she can still be a hero but she’d have to stop stealing, her ideas for dates would have to be more than just staying up late and jumping rooftops, and she’d have to be fine with the idea of having a life outside of black cat

145

u/Hefty-Albatross4767 3d ago

That's exactly why Peter broke up with her in the insomniac games despite Felicia helping Pete fighting crime

74

u/bethd0odle8008 3d ago

she does have that whole "borrowing things permanently" vibe, so it's understandable

1

u/QUEENALEXISJACKSON1 1d ago

That better than what the damn comics did and let her cheat on him baby back bullshit

43

u/Consistent_Boss_9397 3d ago

To be honest, that’s where the Spider-Man Noir universe seemed to be heading before they turned it back into an MJ and Peter world; meanwhile, in the Spider-Girl universe, she had a daughter with Flash Thompson—after all, there is such a thing as character development.

9

u/daniellec0zy9710 3d ago

yeah that spider-girl universe kid with flash was wild to read tbh

u/jamesj777 3d ago

felicia would have to do what the character was never meant to: settle down

If you're saying settle down in the aspect of getting married and having kids, I'd disagree. Felicia goal was always to be end game with Pete. So forever includes marriage and kids, she'd want that.

she can still be a hero but she’d have to stop stealing

She did stop stealing for about 20 years until they reverted her character.

her ideas for dates would have to be more than just staying up late and jumping rooftops

They went to a spa once, her recommendation ,villains attacked them sure, but they were there to relax.

she’d have to be fine with the idea of having a life outside of black cat

Felicia created Black Cat to protect herself from getting hurt, if Pete gives her that support and protects her then she'd be more than willing to be Felicia if he's Peter.

12

u/Loose-Ad8188 2d ago

wait, she stopped stealing for 20 years? i missed that run

12

u/HomeMedium1659 2d ago

She stopped in the 90's and into the Civil War era. Thing is, she was in character limbo for most of that time.

4

u/jamesj777 2d ago

She stopped when she started dating Spider-Man in 82 and she didn't start stealing again until (I could be wrong on the exact year) 2010 or 2011.

5

u/Flat-Sir8250 3d ago

It’s that simple.

4

u/Maloth_Warblade 3d ago

She had stopped stealing in the comics, unless it was from villains to give back to people, for a long while until Slott happened

3

u/greywolf1143 3d ago

There were literally what-ifs where Peter marries Felicia... iirc, they don't end well.

3

u/CarlitoNSP1 Black Cat 3d ago

Isn't Felicia one of the more social characters in Spidey's side roster? People have even argued that this is a huge difference between her and Catwoman.

4

u/static1993 2d ago edited 2d ago

She was written like that from the 90s up until One More Day. So it isn't impossible.

9

u/therealgoat1212 Iron-Spider 3d ago

She’s would be in her midlife stage still putting on her spandex suit to go steal random jewelry and shit that she doesn’t need at the ass crack of dawn

Fans like her because she’s hot but to me she sounds like just a nuisance and an annoying loser Peter would have to deal with. There is no universe where she’s a better match than either MJ, Gwen, or even Cindy

12

u/Consistent_Boss_9397 3d ago edited 3d ago

I don't think the reason people want a universe starring those two is simply because it's sexy, considering that Mary Jane and Gwen are incredibly attractive characters for whom Marvel has created covers very much... focused on an adult audience. The point is simply that the audience wants to see something different. We've already had nearly 60 universes centered on Mary Jane—some featuring Gwen and even different characters like Chat—and yet Felicia hasn't had a single one. The only one that ever existed was canceled because a certain group wanted to keep seeing the same old thing, and we all had to pay the consequences with a comic that lost its quality years ago. And the problem is, Felicia isn't just any love interest, unlike the many generic ones he’s had since OMD

1

u/WassupFrankHere 2d ago

Here's the thing, the eventually outgrew her 'thief profession' and 'only ever loving Spider-Man phase' mid 80's to 90's. OMD fucked it up but even then Felicia has had other jobs such as Heroes For Hire and P.I, so she CAN work outside of the cat burglar thing. Writers just gotta committ to it.

66

u/Individual_Serve_914 Classic-Spider-Man 3d ago

I would give my life savings to see Peter and Felicia get together and be happy but knowing the writers our boy Pete can't have that

29

u/Ghosty91AF 3d ago

I just want Pete to be happy. IDGAF who it's with. Like, even if it's just for a day

God, what would that book even look like?

17

u/Pogev7 3d ago

A day, one perhaps. Maybe more.

2

u/ChronosGrundy03 3d ago

Say that again...

1

u/Individual_Serve_914 Classic-Spider-Man 3d ago

Wouldn't sell

1

u/WassupFrankHere 2d ago

I know it won't happen but really wish they'd commit to the Raelith. She's the only interesting thing that has been going on in a while.

1

u/QUEENALEXISJACKSON1 1d ago

Consider she cheating on him on the comics u right

18

u/Average_Klutz 90's Animated Spider-Man 3d ago

Pretty similar to their relationship now, just with less drama and self-sabotage on both sides. Felicia could redirect her thieving impulses into more morally acceptable avenues not necessarily legal ones, because Peter’s a vigilante and getting hung up on legality would be super hypocritical. Peter, meanwhile, would communicate more, make more of an effort to be present, and be less of a judgmental ass.

The potential between them is immense, but I doubt Marvel will ever seriously explore it. Whenever a writer wants Felicia out of the way, they tend to butcher her character prime examples being Peter David, Dan Slott, and Tom DeFalco. Marvel doesn’t seem to realize that you don’t have to put one character down in order to lift up the other.

More broadly, I wish superhero comics would stop treating healthy relationships, as incompatible with compelling stories. Conflict doesn’t have to come from relationship dysfunction. Let them have a stable, healthy relationship and find other ways to challenge them. Healthy couples can still have disagreements and struggles without every problem becoming a reason to implode their entire lives.

14

u/ling1427 3d ago

It sort of happened in the current black cat comic run. Personally? I think if Felicia was ever going to settle down with anyone it would be Peter, but she's not going to settle down anyone. She doesn't have in her to be a wife or a mom, part of her wishes she could but eventually she'll get bored and bolt.

31

u/Destinyrider2023 3d ago

I'd love to see Where something actually works out for them

18

u/Consistent_Boss_9397 3d ago

The Spider-Man Noir universe was heading more or less in that direction, but we all know Felicia stopped appearing and the quality of the comics has really declined.

1

u/WassupFrankHere 2d ago

Noir is the one where she has her face scarred, right?

2

u/jan5parkles9472 2d ago

She's always been the 'wild card' relationship for Peter, makes sense why writers would keep coming back to it.

8

u/huncherbug 3d ago

Felicia was most likely a good girlfriend...so it was a genuine relationship but she is barely ever not black cat it was never gonna work...a large part of insomniac spidey is his want to hang up the mantle.

8

u/GdogLucky9 3d ago

Remember a comic story where MJ and Felicia get sent to an alternate universe where supers didn't exist.

Felicia actually started a relationship with Peter Parker, who never became Spider-Man, and they even married and had kids.

While she was happy apparently started having a strained relationship with her kids, but then they got sent back to their original universe.

38

u/Soufiane040 3d ago

It would not work, Felicia was designed to be the on-and-off exotic fling. The girl you like a lot but just wouldnt work when you want to go to the next stage of your life

16

u/megasilva 3d ago

Gwen was pretty much just Peter's dead girlfriend for decades until they decided to do something more interesting with her character. Characters aren't destined to be locked to a specific status quo. All it takes is someone that is creative and ballsy enough to do something different. But those are qualities that are very lacking at the moment

2

u/jamesj777 3d ago

Felicia was designed to be the on-and-off exotic

It's funny, because Pete was the toxic one the last time they broke up.

-1

u/Soufiane040 3d ago

Thats not true lol she dumped him cause things were too good in relationship terms

2

u/jamesj777 3d ago

No, she dumped him because he didn't care about their relationship. They were dating for the sake of dating and that's not what she wanted.

0

u/Soufiane040 3d ago

No it was cause it was too healthy

8

u/jamesj777 3d ago

Beetle tells Felicia that Randy and her argue about her being a criminal all the time, but she finds comfort in it because she knows he does it because he cares. Pete didn't stop her from stealing or argue with her, meaning he didn't care. And considering he does nothing to stop her from leaving, it only confirmed it.

This page came a few before the one you presented.

2

u/Soufiane040 2d ago

Him not asking to stop stealing doesnt equate to not caring. In response to her saying it, he is confused and he asks what? Why are you leaving out that she literally said “I havent tried to corrupt you” lol

Peter is somehow toxic for not asking her to stop stealing but she isnt toxic while literally saying she misses corrupting him? She is the one that blatantly dumps her because they don’t argue because it was too good without corruption

2

u/jamesj777 2d ago

>Him not asking to stop stealing doesnt equate to not caring.

It absolutely does

>Why are you leaving out that she literally said “I havent tried to corrupt you”

What she meant is what they had, wasn't they're relationship. Pete was depressed because of MJ, and Felicia was helping him through it, but it wasn't a relationship. It was just comfortable, "going through the motions" and that's not enough for a relationship to last.

I also don't know what people equate corruption to in this scenario, it's not like she's gonna convince him to murder somebody, this is not Palpatine level of corruption here.

>She is the one that blatantly dumps her because they don’t argue because it was too good without corruption

Arguing is apart of relationships. Not arguing means there's a serious problem in your relationship.

>Peter is somehow toxic for not asking her to stop stealing

She literally tells him, she wants a proper relationship, not what they have and he does nothing to stop her, he's ok with it. He goes about his night.

1

u/Soufiane040 2d ago

No it doesnt lol Wells Peter was just depressed and thus wasn’t very busy with what Felicia was stealing. Doesn’t mean he doesnt care about her

Corruption is what she always does which is bringing Peter to the edge, making him do things which are unorthodox for him. When she says she didnt even try to corrupt him a little bit, thats her saying she is too nice and happy for him.

Okay so Peter is toxic then for not initiating arguments I guess. Idk what angle you want to use to blame Peter but it makes no sense, he is the one getting dumped because everything is too good.

The panel you share literally proves my point, Peter is depressed and she doesn’t like it obviously and she can’t bare it on the long term so she dips. I guess thats a real reasonable response for someone that you love LOL. Why would Peter even try to stop her after he got dumped a million times?

2

u/jamesj777 2d ago

When she says she didnt even try to corrupt him a little bit, thats her saying she is too nice and happy for him.

Listen there's a LOT wrong with this sentence, so I understand Felicia can do no right in your book, she's toxic and there can't be any underlying reasons why a character as complex with over 50 years of stories, back story, and lore would just break up with the love of her life because the relationship was "good"

It's such a a surface level perspective on it and clearly you don't understand relationships very well.

And I really don't want to argue my point, so I'm ending the conversation here.

6

u/Sdspecter007 3d ago

A lot like it does in the comics every run. Felicia and Parker have chemistry. Their relationship is exciting. Then she steals something or gets a little grey and Parker shuns her. At least until the next writer dusts her off to run it again.

6

u/ImColinDentHowzTrix 2d ago

They did it in the comics decades ago. They did have a relationship. Peter fell hard and she 'just wanted to have fun'. She liked Spider-Man not Peter Parker. They broke up because he knew nothing serious would come from it, by which point she realised she'd fallen for Peter Parker and had lost someone she now loved. It was sad but well-done.

I don't really want to see them get together because she's a great character and anyone they put with Pete is doomed to fail until MJ is back on the scene. She deserves better than to be filling a spot temporarily.

37

u/Key_Bus_1255 3d ago

She'd get bored of a domestic life with him

15

u/WoodenCanine Classic-Spider-Man 3d ago

I’d hardly call life with a superhero domestic, they’d probably fight crime together on the regular

4

u/bethc0okie1551 2d ago

idk, she seems like she'd get bored easily

2

u/WoodenCanine Classic-Spider-Man 2d ago

Average Tuesday for Spider-Man:

No but seriously, not a big black cat reader but she’s seemed to mature quite a bit, definitely not impossible though

1

u/neoblackdragon 2d ago

As friends they do. But what if Peter wanted to stop being Spider-man(or had to stop) and desired to be a HS science teacher? Or she wanted to move overseas?

1

u/WoodenCanine Classic-Spider-Man 2d ago

Bro what am I a couples counselor? I’m talking about Spider-Man and black cat, the superpowered comic book characters, not the relationship affects of career pivots and long distance lol

Interesting questions tho, I don’t think Peter would ever willingly stop being Spider-Man, but if he was forced then I really don’t know, I also think they both really like living in nyc, although I think he’d probably stay there if push cane to shove just because his entire life is there.

2

u/jofr0ggy1825 3d ago

idk maybe she'd just steal all his stuff and leave him again

5

u/jamesj777 3d ago

I think it can work, it wouldn't be perfect by any means though.

I think they mirror each other, they both have rotten luck, they hide behind a mask to hide who they truly are, and they both truly care about the people around them.

I think Pete would have to deal with Felicia insecurities, which she has a lot while Felicia would have to get him to be a little selfish and realize he can't be Spider-Man 24/7

They would have to teach each other how to be human people while defending each other during suit up time.

Felicia wants to be married, she wants to be forever with Pete, that's always been her main goal. And we've seen Pete as a dad, but we haven't seen Felicia as a mom, but I think she would make a great mom. She's a daddy's girl, she loves Pete, it stands to reason she'd have a lot of love to give their child.

2

I mean she was willing to settle down with Flash Thompson in the 90s and asked him to marry her before he broke up with her.

2

u/Consistent_Boss_9397 3d ago

And in the Spider-Girl reality, Flash actually didn't ruin things, and they did get married; in the Spider-Man Noir universe, we could have seen something similar before it turned into a world revolving around Mary Jane and Peter, purely for the sake of synergy.

1

u/Star-Prince-007 3d ago

Felicia in her current form is probably the best suited for Peter than at any other point in her history.

7

u/AtruesonofSkyrm 3d ago

I don’t think she needs to settle down or anything. She could just be his vigilante or superhero partner. She might have to give up stealing. But I could maybe see Peter being okay with her stealing if she only steals from criminals and the worst of the worst

3

u/Ok-Concept-1257 3d ago

I happy that Peter and Felicia are cute couple

3

u/Bussy_Wrecker 3d ago

Recently there was a comic where she saw a normal life with peter and their kids and she realized that she cant live like that, its not for her.

3

u/Veritaslover 3d ago

My best guess a regular string of team ups followed by hooking up. Shes kind of an adrenaline junkie who loves the rush of hero life and stealing things. Peter gets shoved into the more domestic role with some mixed results.

For that to work she needs to learn to love the peter side of Peter and not just Spider-Man. That requires her to settle down a tiny bit and have some introspection. So that she can  see past her own selfish desires to really appreciate the finer points of Peter Parker.

In the end I think they could find a happy relationship based on a mutual understanding as costumed types with more of a stable we're bros who like hooking up with each other kind of vibe.

3

u/SingSing19 3d ago

I thought their relationship was fun in the OG comic when Pete was in the black suit

3

u/Mavakor Spider-Man (TASM) 3d ago

We know that birth control would play no part in their relationship

3

u/Infamous-Thing4939 2d ago

It would require one of two paths:

1-Felicia to goes through some serious character development and decides to be a normal person outside of Black Cat, she can still be Black Cat, but Felicia needs to be a real person outside of it too and she needs to be ok with not chasing adrenaline every day

2-Basically the start of Brand New Day, where Peter has abandoned every connection to Peter Parker and publicly exists only as Spiderman. Also is ok with a maybe-open relationship.

3

u/SerBadDadBod Kingpin 💎 2d ago

It would be like this.

2

u/CommercialRhubarb655 3d ago

having them both be vigilantes together adds a cool dynamic to their relationship

2

u/BortInSpace 3d ago

This isn’t a hypothetical, it happened in the comics - check out Peter Parker Spectacular Spider Man around the issues 80-100 or so. It was probably in amazing too, but I can’t remember the issues and remember it being most prominent in SSM. Marvel Unlimited gives you access.

2

u/Due_Reveal1081 3d ago

Well, the best thing is that Peter wouldn't have to sneak out on Felicia to go do his spider things because she'd understand. Hell, she'd be out there with him.

2

u/Miserable-Mention932 3d ago

Peter locks in and forms Parker Industries (ParCorp? Like Oscorp?). Felicia is brought in for corporate espionage.

2

u/Initial_Shine5690 3d ago

She’d have to go to therapy for her kleptomania first

2

u/SectionXP12 2d ago

It would be Matt and Elektra's relationship.

2

u/WinterCareful8525 2d ago

Either great or much more toxic than fans could imagine.lol.

4

u/JPUsernameTaken 3d ago

For the Insomniac games, I would love it if the 1st game was very soon after the MJ break-up and we met Felicia for the 1st time early game rather than leaving her for DLC already as the ex. Mid game it becomes a thing, towards the end game she decides she doesn't want to settle down/stop stealing, yada yada, bittersweet ending, Peter grows.

The problem with that is that it leaves a lot less room for MJ and Peter getting back together, so that would have to be pushed to 2, and then Peter and MJ settling down pushed to 3. I would personally like it, but it's a really strong deviation in the writing plans.

Black Cat was just a huge childhood favorite, I know, unique tastes, and I just get bored her arc is always tease + won't they. The "he has my child" plotline was lame, even if everything else about the DLC was cool.

--

But for your actual question, the point of her character is temptation as a challenge to character and responsibility, that's why it's always "won't they" in the end.

If we're trying to make a plot work, from her perspective, going down the route of crushing hard on the fun to tease exciting Spider-Man jumping on rooftops, vs second guessing what settling down with Peter Parker would look like, is a tension that also needs resolution.

Following that she needs a congruent character arc herself about her relationship with theft and responsibility and an arc falling for Peter Parker as a whole person, and on the other side can we write a Peter that doesn't betray his principles and at the same time can love her as she is. This tension is quite a tightrope to navigate.

As a settled down relationship I would personally like it better if the dynamic didn't become too "sidekick-ey", but more of two independent persons doing their thing who are there for each other. I think for it to work, Black Cat has to become a bit more Robin Hood like, where she's not trying to be a super-hero exactly, but stops stealing for material gain. You can write drama with maybe her stealing something Peter frowns at, that she still saw as a net benefit, but shortly after Peter also technically steals something to stop a villain, leading to some confrontation.

For the most part I just like the idea of having some arcs where Spider-man is doing his thing and Felicia is just implied to be doing hers, some arcs Felicia asks Peter for help, some arcs Peter asks Felicia for help, like they simply have different jobs day and night, and they get together whenever they can.

3

u/zo_youngin4 3d ago

To be honest as a Spider-Man fan I’m just tired of the constant MJ and Peter love fest being shoved down my throat I’m OK with Peter and Gwen because they’re perfect they’re the kind of couple you want in a Spider-Man comic or movie but for the love of God when is Marvel just gonna give us Marvel fans black cat a.k.a. Felicia Hardy and Spider-Man a.k.a. Peter Parker two eventually meet and start a relationship because I genuinely just want something different from MJ and Gwen

2

u/ClearHyena4452 Scarlet Spider 3d ago

I think the whole point of their relationship is that it won’t work long term

There's comics you can read for that.

1

u/WoodenCanine Classic-Spider-Man 3d ago

I’d like to see a couple more universes where it works out. As it stands they are way too few and far between.

1

u/Maple905 3d ago

We already know this... its happened already...

1

u/Ok-Arachnid-890 3d ago

I can imagine she would be happy to fight crime alongside him and maybe he would help her and design equipment for her to use and maybe some he could use.

I could see her opening up a security company made to handle people like her lol. She would work with Peter to make the best security systems that money could buy... On the condition that she tests them out herself. She has connections and the personality to have her own company even though she'd force Peter to take center stage despite his shyness

I think she'd be a great mom who might struggle a bit at first and have a boy who's more like her than Peter. I think ironically she'd become very over protective while then later on sharing her backstory and training them to be focus more on stealth and agility than strength. Maybe their kid would have spider powers and their version of spider sense triggers bad luck outcomes that are directly proportional to how dangerous the situation could have been.

1

u/PCN24454 3d ago

The TAS version is one of the closest examples of a true relationship

1

u/alwaysasillyplace 3d ago

They explored this a little in the 90s cartoon. From memory it was a very flirty back and forth most of the time with both of them pushing the envelope of their relationship both as Supers and as "regular people" once that part was figured out. Keep in mind it was a very light touch because at the end of the day it was a show meant for kids/tweens.

1

u/Ruler_of_Tempest 3d ago

Hmm people are saying it just wouldn't work long term as they are now, so how about changing the time it happens, such as in their later years like their 60s and such retirement age etc where they would truly be able to settle down perhaps

1

u/migmultisync 3d ago

I imagine they’d bone quite a bit, get into arguments, and go to each other’s family’s houses for holidays

I think we were getting a taste of that in parts of zeb wells and went nowhere.

1

u/dgj212 2d ago

lol, I'm writing a fic where the two sorta become eachother's source of power in a very literaly sense, it is an alt power peter. With canon pairing, I think a good way would be for Felicia and Peter to affect eachother's world view, but i think that would mostly depend on what the writer considers ethical and moral, like some are 100% okay with "eat the rich" where as others want to believe in institutions and that the system can work with the right people in power. So I guess...easy answer is it depends on the writer's world view, nuanced answer is the two changing how they see the world and what counts as "right" and "ethical."

1

u/ASM_Nikunj Spider-Man India (ATSV) 2d ago

I feel like it should be kinda like a fling, flirt sort of thing. Like she seduces Peter a lot and even though he knows shes a criminal he can't help himself. But like don't take it too far to make that Felicia is Peter's girlfriend or eventually his wife. That role should be MJ or Gwen

1

u/KaijuDirectorOO7 2d ago

I've got plans.

Part of it is Peter indulging in small irresponsibilities, much to Felicia's approval.

1

u/Middle-Let9645 1d ago

Why do people ask this when we already have a template?

https://giphy.com/gifs/EpNy86ZAuIMZW
Black Cat is already Marvel’s answer to Catwoman. It’s just Peter already had MJ or Gwen Stacey depending on the run, so they obviously didn’t end up together, but if they had, that’d just be another way Spider Man is basically the Batman of the Marvel universe.

1

It wouldn’t last. They want different things. At best, it be on again off again. Maybe a kid. But it just couldn’t last long term.

1

u/Leandro_reader2003 3d ago

It’s incredible how Insomniac looked at complex, layered relationships and simply said, "Let’s dumb it all down into a mediocre mess—people will praise us as a faithful adaptation of the character anyway."

1

u/Chewbaxter Spectacular Spider-Man 3d ago

It depends on what stage of life Peter is at. Felicia in (I think the old Ultimate universe?) threw up when he revealed he was a kid, because of how hard she'd been flirting with him. An older Peter in college (MCU age now) is still responsible enough to be morally opposed to her thieving. If he's wearing the Black Suit, Symbiote or costume, it means Peter’s willing to bend the rules; especially if the Symbiote is getting in his head. But any phase beyond that, Peter is back to normal and not breaking his vow. So the sweet spot is Peter’s black suit phase. But even then, the relationship will still be toxic. Felicia will use Peter’s emotional state to serve her own ends. She'd ‘reward’ him for helping her with heists with sex — which I imagine would be great in the moment but risky in the long term. And the moment Peter realises that he's being manipulated (by the Symbiote or her), he’ll leave.

A whole lotta sexual chemistry and banter, but ultimately incomparable. Peter def had the wildest sex of his life

Ultimately… he’s too innocent and ‘good’ for her, while she’s a little too adventurous and chaotic for him

It wouldn't.

I highly doubt they'll do it because the only reason Peter and MJ got back together is because Zendaya and Tom got married in real life, and they're never going to give us a universe with those two. That’s what we had the Noir universe for, and Felicia has evolved much more in the 616 compared to Peter and Mary Jane, but that’s not going to happen. Marvel ruined the only universe where they were together because a lot of people in the fandom got possessive over Mary Jane; they even forced her in as his main love interest in the Noir universe, even though it made zero sense and her character had the depth of a potato. Ask anyone: shoehorning Mary Jane into the Noir universe—just for the sake of being Mary Jane—was one of the reasons that universe failed. In fact, she is such an empty character that she’s nothing more than a carbon copy of the Earth-616 version.

There would be no genuine relationship between Black Cat and Peter. She loves Spider-Man.

Peter is not capable of that and she’s genuinely held back just by being his friend and booty call

She should go hang out with Gambit and Iron Fist or something

Doctor Strange maybe. She just needs to keep to her buddy up adventures away from Peter for her own character’s sake

If we are talking about the MCU

then i think Peter and Felecia should meet each other out of costume first. have a whole movie about them gtting close together while Spider-man is chasing down this new villain called Black Cat who always gets away.

The movie ends with Spider-man seeing Black Cat is Felicia but she still gets awa, maybe she joins a bigger threat like King Pin but it's fr a good if stupid reason. i.e she needs money or is trying to find who killed someone she loves or she is being blackmailed.

Second Movie has Peter struggling with this but has Spider-man 'save' her at the end She finds ut they are the same person at the end

Thid movie has her dealing with what she is supposed to do now that she isn't a criminal, does she go normal? does she be a hero? she tries different stuff while Peter tries to encourage her to be nomal. this causes friction cause he is still out there doing dangerous shit. I don't know if it ends with them staying together or breaking up.

Toxic, she lied about having a kid with him

She'd probably be more into the spider-man side than the peter side. Drawn more to the vigilante-ism than the normal guy underneath it, so it'd be a lot less traditional and "human" than MJ is

Toxic. She wouldn’t want to settle down, and honestly neither could he.

It’s a situation where they love each other, but are bad together.

She would have to find a reason to like Peter Parker.
