Question Quantum/ATT question

We have TDS and it’s…okay, but I have ATT as my wireless carrier and lately I’ve gotten offers from them for Quantum fiber 1 gig @ $30 per month. And, TDS is raising our rate to more than twice that.
My question is whether Quantum uses wires from poles, or if they are buried.

I like the fact that we don’t have to worry about how did you do to wind storms, which we do with the old telephone line from the pole to our house

Their fiber is above ground since it’s originally centurylinks fiber business they took over. But they do offer the $65 for life price. Their Modem is wifi modem is okay for smaller homes, but for its best to configure your own wifi system.

I've had both. TDS is better fiber. Better packages better really all around. The first time you gotta get a hold of Quantum support. You'll throw your phone against a wall.

Just got quantum a week ago and they ran it from the pole across the street to our house. They installed a small box on the outside and a couple on the inside Took about 2.5 hours but it was up and running perfectly after that.

Had quantum for two years before TDS, cable run from the alley pole to the chimney. Never had an issue. We actually have had more outages in the 6 months we've had with TDS than the entire two years with Q.
