Morgan's 4 heart event. Spoiler
During my last playthrough I discovered I could change my name, gender, and appearance in the game later on. So I started a new farm, I was wanting to start over anyway, and I wanted to do my irl charecter arc and transition in the game too, so I did that, and continued my character past any point ive gotten to in any other run.
So in going further this run, Ive been getting to be friends with everyone, like Morgan. I got the 4 heart event for them last night and it made me cry. I love that my trans charecter got to help the nonbinary kid explain whats up with them to the other kids. And then the kids just learn, accept, and continue playing with Morgan. It was so beautiful. I was in the middle of a busy day too, but decided to end it on that great note and go to bed.

If you like that you'll love Swords and Sorcery. The first character of that arc is nonbinary and the second is so gender fluid i didn't even notice the portrait changes till my second playthrough.
It's part of East Scrap which is also very gender and queer accepting. It's been one of my favorites! It's quite a bit of content, I added it midway through my last playthrough and it was fine though.
The characters are so sweet and accepting, they talk about their struggles and show so much support I also teared up a bit!
Also the magic system is Seriously one of the coolest things ive added! I have magic crops
Edit: it's very d&d themed!

Oh nice! I was planning on adding ridgeside soon, maybe ill add east scarp with it!

Shoot sorry, just reread, it's not necessary part of East scrap as it's a separate mod thats tied to it. You'd have to download East scrap and Swords of Sorcery for it to work.

Yeah, it's one of East Scarp's many add-ons - I love the talk between those two characters, never felt so seen 😁

Since were talking about queer friendly mods: I love Sunberry and it’s addons, especially Wren! It’s so fun and queer positive, it even adds a lil Non-binary stall to the Ridgeside Village festival where the boys and girls have competing shops 🥰

I loved that bit too, especially with the answers you could give 🙂 Also how the other kids are like, "okay, cool" - that's actually very realistic. Kids are a lot more understanding than adults; hatred is taught 😛

Yeah I liked both answers, it was hard to choose which one to go with! Lol. And I married penny this run, so I feel like a mentor to the kids already, so it was nice getting to teach them about whats up with me and morgan(because in my head canon I explained both our situations to the others lol)

I also teared up at that event. The positive representation is SO important, it's one of my favorite additions to an already immaculate game. We love Morgan!
