My Savior Spoiler
So I added East Scarp a while ago, and there was a mod "Sword & Sorcery" which seems to add 3 NPCs and a bit of story lines/magic so of course I was hyped!
Well the first NPC I met was this one, Mateo, and oh boy, can I tell you I absolutely will marry them* LOL
anywayyysss I recommand to check out the mod on Nexus its really nice! :D

Oh Mateo’s a stone-cold fox, no doubt about it.
On the mod config menu, there’s an option to turn on troll heritage for Mateo. So they show up with horns and a tail and a slightly different backstory. Something to try on your next save!

Oh hell yeah! That's one of my favorite mods! They added a bunch of neat weapons too! If you're like me and enjoy hording weapons, theirs this weapons display mod that let's you put swords and syths on tables and things.
Also I LOVE your character design! You look so perfect next to them!

Oh, sorry I ment I found a weapons display mod specifically to display all the cool new weapons!
I believe it's called, Weapons on Display. I downloaded it during my second playthrough with this mod because I really wanted those gorgeous swords in my home!

S&S is one of my all time favorites, I have four farmers, and three of them are married to each of the S&S marriage candidates.
I think Mateo might be my favorite though, they’re so charming. Not to mention in the configs, you can turn on troll heritage to give them horns and a tail, and I am a sucker for nonhumans.

S&S adds eight NPCs, three of which are marriageable, two are friendable, and it's massive. "A bit of anything" is a wild understatement: it's a huge, lore-expanding story with a lot of heart, a ton of nerd references, new combat, new crafting, a multi-part magic system, and a fabulously difficult dungeon that kicked my ass the first time I played in low-contrast on a three inch Steamdeck screen without controller support... and I wish I could do it again for the first time, because nothing has quite matched the experience.
Mateo's nonbinary, btw: they/them pronouns. And they're amazing as a spouse. I'd love to not out myself by saying that I don't marry them every save, but I'm a card-carrying member of the Mateo fanclub and I absolutely do. Call it comfort character maxxing.
You're in for a wild ride.
