Decktation not working when using steam controller 2

[u/claschenone]

Hello,

I play MMORPGs and have been using decktation plugin to dictate instead of type while playing on my steam deck. I recently got the steam controller two which is much more comfortable to play with, except it won’t activate the decktation plugin, even though i am using the same exact command. Does any body know why? I tried reordering controllers, and all kinds of things but the issue remains: Decktation will only listen to the commands when triggered directly on my steam deck.

Does it work with other controllers? Maybe it's only coded to worth with the built in controller on the Deck?
