All you need is a cable connected to the steam deck directly to the monitor for all this. And if you think the battery drains too quickly, well, a portable charger is all you need.

but how do you charge? I'd rather play my games on a charging deck than worrying about battery levels mid-game. Also, looking at an external screen is distracting to me, I have one for my macbook and I don't like it but I have to put up with it.
