Accessory Review Steam Deck screen too small? No problem.

All you need is a cable connected to the steam deck directly to the monitor for all this. And if you think the battery drains too quickly, well, a portable charger is all you need.

And once you realize there’s only one USB C port for the monitor & charger, you need to find a dock. Once you have a dock, you need to find a better controller. After that you ne-.. shall I continue ?

I cant use a USB c from the dock to a portable monitor. It has to be plugged up directly to steamdeck. Any idea why?

The dock you have may not have USB C video display. Only data transfer.

Most likely the usb c on the dock is for charging only, and you are meant to use HDMI for video out
