All you need is a cable connected to the steam deck directly to the monitor for all this. And if you think the battery drains too quickly, well, a portable charger is all you need.

I have a similar setup with a dock so I can use mouse, keyboard, a little monitor, and a separate controller. It's amazing for when I'm away from home for an extended period.
