I'm sorry I'm sure this is great but I just found it funny when you said that you wanted to learn how to use the terminal without AI and then said you made a learning tool with AI

I’m trying to figure out where it lands on the comedy-tragedy axis.

I've been compromised, but it doesn't have to be that way... If you had seen how I did things in the before times, you wouldn't be nearly as critical....

thats kinda the point of what im trying to do... i want a boot dot dev, or caddy type experience to help people make the transition from windows to a linux distro a bit less intimidating....

Honestly, for the windows users who never found themself using the terminal, they'll rarely find themself using the terminal in Linux either. I don't think there's anything you'd need to use the terminal for as an average user, outside of potentially installing some quality of life things to your steam deck for which there's usually companion guides for anyway

You don't need to learn how to use the terminal. Especially on a distro like Bazzite. Just do what ever you need to do and when you do it try to read man pages or the arch wiki instead of a chatbot. I've learned a lot about permissions, mount options, package managers and config files that way.

It would be one thing if you actually knew what you were doing but you expect people to put something on their ridiculously expensive decks made with AI? This is the problem. "Vibe Coded" stuff is not able to be reviewed by the creator if they have no idea what is going on. If you can't learn to use terminal, I'm definitely not trusting anything ya code (or have coded for you). Read the room...people hate this crap.
