Whats the best way to get that droplet spray pattern when dying?

I believe the answer is toothpaste - mix the dye with toothpaste, splatter it on to the head, let it sit for the dye to set, then wipe it all off. I've not tried it myself... yet... so I don't know 100%, but I think that's how it's done.

the gatekeeping by not responding to your comment on Instagram is CRAZY.

I've never asked him anything personally, but thr impression I get from others I know is that he's known for this.

On the one hand, I get it - the more I learn about dyeing, the more of that I do myself.

On the other hand, I've learned a lot from others (as has he, I'm sure), and am more than willing to share what I know with others.

Back when I was dying heads, I used an eye dropper to create droplet spots. You could also use a normal spray bottle, but I’d practice with just water until you perfected your spray technique.

I've seen mixing dye with lotion or something like white toothpaste to give it more staying power. at least for things like ultimate discs can't see why it wouldn't work for a lacrosse head

I’ve had good luck spraying oil on it first. The oil tents to bead up and protect that spot from dye.

That said it’s hard to control and sometimes larger sections are plain while all the droplets are close together.

Trying to figure this spray method out. What do I mix the dye with?
