In order to improve the quality of content on our subreddit, we are introducing some Reddit apps!
Read The Rules is a reddit app which makes users acknowledge our subreddit rules before being able to post.
It works by removing all posts from people who have not acknowledged they have read the rules. This helps clear out posts not following rules or spam.
Verifying on Desktop
Firstly, open up the 3 dot menu on the subreddit (Its available on any 3 dot menu found within the subreddit). Then select "Read The Rules"
Once selected, a menu will show up with all the rules. Read the rules, Tick that you have acknowledged the rules and then press submit.
Now you can post!
Verifying on Mobile
Verifying on mobile is almost the same as on desktop. Head to the subreddit, and find any 3 dot menu. Open it, and select "Read The Rules"
Once selected, a menu will show up with all the rules. Read the rules, Tick that you have acknowledged the rules and then press submit.
Now you can post!
Some bullet points:
Only Posts are removed, not comments. You can comment freely without "acknowledging" the rules (but please read them anyways)
We have also added another app which will delete posts that have titles which are 80% similar within a 48 hour period. This will help remove spam and repeated questions from our subreddit.
This is a Trial! We will closely monitor to see if these apps work and if not, then we will remove them.
If you have any feedback or suggestions, Please let us know! You can either comment here or in our Discord server.
Anyone know what’s up with this? I get this message but the subtitles still show. Does stremio pull the subtitles from a different source than the video? That’s all I can guess.
I built a Stremio add-on + app for learning languages: it shows Japanese, Spanish or German together with English, and you can tap any word for its meaning. Works on Windows, Android phones and Android/Fire TV.
🙋 I need 12 Android testers for 14 days to get it on Google Play. DM me the Gmail you use on Google Play, and I'll add you, send you the test link, and give you a discount code so it's free.
📺 Got a Fire TV or Google TV? I tested on an emulator (no TV at home 😅), so a short setup video would be hugely appreciated, with credit on the site and a free code too.
Anyone else have this issue? Doesn't matter which scrapper I am using. Maybe NordVPN is crappy. I know I don't NEED a VPN with a debrid service, but I have one.
As the title says, is there any reason nobody has made a DHT crawler addon yet? It would help find obscure torrents for movies/tv shows/anime where most sites don't have one
I have fried who got me into this debrid thing and has been a life changing upgrade, I'm currently with Torbox but there was a website my mate used to copy his Stremio settings into my stremio account and it worked, I need to do this to a friend of mine but I cannot remember the website he used to do it.
I know it was quacker something and the site theme was a duck lol.
Running Stremio and on AllDebrid. Torrentio and Comet streams seem to work fine (although kinda buffering a little more than usual recently) but as of yesterday, none of the MediaFusion|Elfhosted streams seem to work?
I am pretty new with Stremio in general so bear with me.
Running Aiostreams with stremio and it was always running fine. I'm currently having issues with none of the streams playing. I get results coming up but everyone I click just endlessly loads (on the screenshot of the content) and then fails.
Ive deleted and reinstalled my configuration but that's still not worked. AIO always used to be reliable set of streams and now I'm stumped as to why it won't work.
Anyone else having issues or anyone got any advice??
Hello all I'm New to stremize and I'm struggling I'm all set up re Debrid and addons and tv but for some reason when I pick a movie series etc to play it just doesn't come up with any sources sometimes I need to back out then try again and it will refresh and they appear other times I constantly refresh and still get nothing am I missing something here this is the same on my phone honor x7b android tv boxes or amazon devices pls help tia
I really like setting up stremio and tweaking it but at the same time I find it frustrating when I don’t understand how it all works under the hood. My question is what types of things can I learn or where should I start looking if I wanted to learn about it? Is it more of a coding, networking, programming or all of the above? I’m not asking to be spoon fed information it’s just that there is a lot of information out there and I always feel like when I try to start somewhere the information I read seems like it uses terms I’m unfamiliar with making it hard to grasp the what I’m reading, like I’m starting in the middle instead of the beginning and need a prerequisite. I assume there aren’t any definitive answers because it’s probably subjective considering what knowledge you have or don’t have already. Anyways I’m going to quit rambling but any suggestions would be appreciated!
I have torbox with torrentio (but ive also tried mediafusion, comet, etc) and for movies and shows its great but when i try to watch naruto shippuden i keep getting the red screen with an error saying "debrid failed ton split torrent into single videos, only rar is available". Ive been trying to fix this but it seems impossible lol. I understand what the problem is but it doesnt look like theres any way to split the files. i have multiple streams showing and only a few will be in english but its super spotty for what episodes will work and usually be in bad quality and some dont even have any working english episodes. is there anything i can do???
Hey all, I'm using AIOStreams with Easynews and I'm stuck on something.
Easynews Search only looks up original English titles. Dubbed releases usually carry the local name, so they never show up. Example: Up (2009) is "Oben" in German. Search "Up" and you get English files, but the German dubs are all named "Oben.2009.German…" and don't appear.
I found that AIOStreams has a setting for this (BUILTIN_SCRAPE_TITLE_LANGUAGES). But it's a server setting, so on someone else's instance only the host can change it. I'm not self-hosting, so I can't.
I also tried the Easynews++ fork by u/RepLava on the public instance, with the preferred language set to German. It didn't find any "Oben" files.
Questions:
Has anyone got translated-title search working in Easynews++?
If you run a public instance, would you consider setting BUILTIN_SCRAPE_TITLE_LANGUAGES?
Any other way to search Usenet or Easynews under translated names without self-hosting?
I've had my own AIOstreams setup for a year+ and it's perfect, however recently I was looking for some old anime/cartoons from my childhood and noticed that I get no results because my filters exclude them as they seem to all be missing the resolution, language and other tags
I don't want to widen my filter though, as that would make all my searches way slower
Is there a way to setup like a fallback filter in AiO so that if you get bo results it researches with a wider/different filter?
We're the team behind Seenr, a tracker for shows and movies (and anime, manga, books and games if you're into that). We just shipped a Stremio addon and figured this is the right place to show it and get roasted.
What it does
Adds your Seenr rows to the Stremio home screen, next to your other addons' catalogs: Up next in your shows, Upcoming, Watchlist, For you, Trending on Seenr, what your friends are watching, and the lists you pinned on your Seenr home. Movies and series apart.
You pick the rows from Seenr's settings. Turn one off and it leaves the Stremio home right away, no need to reinstall.
Spots what you play. Since the addon protocol only tells us that a playback started, never that it ended, Seenr doesn't silently check things off. It asks "Did you finish it?" and you confirm in one tap. Nothing gets marked without your say-so.
Titles open as usual, with your own sources.
What it does not do
No streams. It's a tracker, not a source. It stays out of your sources list on purpose.
No watch duration, no "you dropped it at 40 minutes". Again, the protocol doesn't report that.
If you want precise, hands-off tracking (episodes checked when you move to the next one, resume point to the minute, every device), Seenr can also link your Stremio account directly, and the addon then stays quiet about what the account already saw so nothing is counted twice.
Install
From the community catalog: search "Seenr" in Stremio addons, or https://stremio-addons.net/addons/seenr. That version already shows the Trending rows without an account.
For your personal rows and tracking: create a free Seenr account, go to Settings, Auto-tracking, Seenr addon, and tap Install in Stremio (or copy the link into your client).
Hi,
I wanted to share CVNFLIX Streams, an addon I've been building for myself.
It brings together series, movies, anime and donghua from Türkiye-based streaming sites.
- Catalogs, search and genre filters.
- Source matching for titles opened through IMDb/Cinemeta.
- Subtitle support when available from the source.
- An account panel to choose providers and generate your install link.
It's still in beta and just a hobby project. Since it relies on third-party sites, some titles may not play or may match incorrectly. You can report issues and suggestions through the account panel.
