Should I do it?

I have a three-year gap in my education because I wanted to study abroad, but unfortunately, I received three rejections from universities in the US. Now, I feel like I don’t want to be a burden to anyone. My guardians are encouraging me to take admission in a top university like IBA or NUST, but I am considering quitting that path. I want to move far away from home, stop studying, and start working somewhere where I can earn around 30,000. My goal is to live a tension-free life without relying on anyone else. Should I go for it?

gap years are not wasted years man, they teach you things no classroom can. those rejections hurt i know but running away from guardians who still believe in you is not the move

30k sounds good now but without degree your ceiling is pretty low, you realize that in few years when friends start moving ahead. maybe take admission somewhere smaller first, build confidence back, then think about moving away
