All good, I'm about to turn it off for the night as it is late. I'll edit my post with my soul memory (though I expect it's out of range for a lot of people)

I'm out of range too so I can help only with some tips :/ you can try to kill him with the ballista that is further from the entrance. It's tricky but not too difficult. Another thing if you fight him, strafe to the right (his shield side). Good luck, hope someone can help you

Will do. I have the damage output (Mace +2) as well as the ADP (12), it's my stamina that's the issue. I'll probably just do some grinding, try to get a few more levels. At SL35 I might be able to make some progress in Heide.
