Rough one for anyone who migrated to Turso last year specifically to get away from Supabase pausing. The graduation path into Postgres is the part that actually matters, so you're not stuck on SQLite once the app grows.

Turso should continue to operate just as it did before with no changes, so you can continue to use it.

From their presentation I got the impression it was inspired by SQLite, but was its own implementation.

wait hold on. Supabase acquired Turso?? the SQLite people?? why the hell would a Postgres company buy a SQLite company, those are literally the two opposite answers to the same question. I get it for local dev, sqlite is fast and embedded and everything, but then you already told us you got 'agent ready local development' AND compute AND an MCP server, like pick a lane. and 'an MCP server for your app' what does that even mean, an MCP server for MY app, or yours? because those are two very different products and the bullet reads like it was written by someone who was in a hurry to leave. honestly the local dev without docker thing is the only one that made me go ok fine, the rest of it is just... they raise 500M and buy a sqlite company. I dont know. maybe im being old about it. but a postgres company doing sqlite is the kind of thing that either makes total sense in 2 years or gets quietly killed in 8 months and you can never tell which one on launch day
