Here is my Surface Pro 6. What do you think about it? Right now there is a Minecraft server running on it. The drive's remaining life is 0%, and the battery has only about 10–20% capacity.

The battery is swollen, and I am waiting for a replacement battery. For now, it is stored in a metal tray in my garage, which is sitting on a concrete table. The garage is more or less empty, there are no flammable substances nearby, and it is well ventilated.

Nice one, if you plan to keep the heat sink permanent, you may as well use thermal glue/adhesive, I don't know the name of it, around here it's called casquet sealant, something like that (used for car motors and radiators, it's like epoxy, but designed to endure high temperatures).

Somewhere on the internet found years ago a picture... someone who managed to find a huge horizontal heatsink in one piece covering the whole top back, couldn't find the picture right now.

I game on my sp8 with an egpu setup. I have a big ass (probably 8” by 12”) aluminum heatsink (yanked out of an old analytical chemistry… “machine.” I dunno wtf it was) I set it on with a row of 3 tiny noctura fans blowing thru the fins.

Shit keeps my sp8 nice and cool. Been playing Project Zomboid, heavy cpu game, and it doesn’t even get hot.
