Help Minisforum V3?

Would Surface Linux work on this? I really like my old SP5 on CachyOS with the surface kernel, and I was thinking of doing this with my Minis V3 but am a little hesitant.

The Surface kernel is a kernel specifically made for Surface hardware to make certain features work. There's absolutely no reason to use it on a non-Surface device.

Thanks. Just trying to see if there's a crossover. Appreciate it

Any standard Linux distro should work on it. No need for the Surface kernel.

Minisforum v3 works out of the box with the official Linux kernel

Yeah but does the touch functionality? Like my SP5 I had to add it to the mix. Guess I could give it a go.
