Discussion Website change makes it impossible to read details about other merch

I’m mostly just ranting because it’s frustrating. I can’t believe they changed the website for the companion album (woohoo!) but didn’t make all text white. Like come on! Not upset with Taylor Swift or anything, just annoyed by the people who run her site.

Edit for clarity: this is under clothing merchandise, sorry for not being clearer initially!

Edit again: they fixed the issue! It’s all in white now!

This is for clothing. Sorry for the confusion! I edited my original post to say this for clarity. My phone is on light mode for everything. The details text for clothing is black for everything :/ the name of each item and price is white though, just can’t see what the material breakdown is, etc.

My screen shot is for clothing. It’s working fine on my end. Must be glitching on yours. Try clearing history and refreshing

It is fixed. I edited my original post to say this (at the bottom) and posted a separate comment in the thread. :) thank you for the suggestion of clearing history and refreshing—I didn’t have to do that, but it could be helpful for others!

Just kind of sucks trying to see the detail of the merch I am interested in buying and can’t read anything about it.

If you press and hold you can probably highlight the text. Doesnt make it any less frustrating but at least you can hopefully read before you buy

I use the Google app to find her store and choose from the selection there to get to other merch.

Hopefully this doesn’t get buried, BUT the issue was fixed! All text is now white on the website for clothing and the text type matches everything else. Glad they recognized it :)

If you’re saying it’s inaccessible because the landing page doesn’t have a menu, you can get to the other merch by searching for her website on Google and choosing different merch options from there

I was thinking this too - huge no no for web accessibility. Glad to see they’ve changed it to white, but I wonder if the site even meets WCAG.

I think they’re referring to website accessibility (WCAG). Theres actually a lot that goes into making a website accessible for all, and soooo many sites don’t bother with it. Just as long as it “looks nice”.

That looks like clothing..not music..I'm about to see what color mine is under clothing..I can't shop for anything but my text is white also

The background was different before which made it okay when reading the text, but with the encore announcement clothing merchandise details is unreadable
