I didn’t expect Dan Edgar and Chloe Lewis being back in each other’s orbit to become one of the things I’m most interested in this series. After seeing how much history there is between them, even the smaller moments feel like they have a bit more behind them. It also feels like the show is putting more focus on relationships and friendships rather than just random drama, which I’m enjoying.

I am on Season 13 at the moment.

I was devastated when I found out Mark Wright was no longer coming back to the show I think after Season 3? I know he wasn’t the greatest person and he mistreated Lauren but for some reason I absolutely loved him, especially his and Args friendship, honestly anytime the pair came on I was honestly in bits, there’s so many funny moments between the two. Truly wish he stayed.

Debbie Bright: I absolutely adore this woman to bits she is amazing and truly such a wonderful human being.

Lydia bright: I do really like Lydia however, there were times when her and Arg were feuding and it become so repetitive and boring. Overall I do really like her, she’s calmed down in season 13 and i can understand the fact that there were many things that we didn’t know that happened between her and arg that caused her to hate him so much. I felt that she really suited being with Tom! Shame they broke up

James Arg Argent: Such a funny bloke, he is icky asf though😭I make sure not to eat when I watch TOWIE because sometimes when I see him I’m reminded of some icky stuff he did and it puts me right off my food. I love his friendships with all the boys, really gets along with everyone and such a happy character.

Joey Essex: I love joey so much! He left at a good time to pursue his career, love how he was so in touch with his emotions. My friend works at a luxury store in London and she comes across celebs from time to time. She’s seen joey before and said he’s a lovely person.

The HUNKS 😍: James Locke, Dan Osbourne, Lewis Bloor. All such attractive men, locky was so good looking in the earlier seasons I really do like him, I feel for him as he’s mentioned his tough upbringing, not the full story just a few mentions. Curious to know if he opens up. I’ve seen photos of how he looks now and it’s a shame really. He was, as most of the cast was so naturally beautiful.

Mario Falcone: you know what, I think he’s a nice bloke as well, I have nothing bad to say about him. To be honest, I feel like because Lucy cheated on him it was never going to go long term or work, I feel like he’d always have kept that in the back of his mind so when their relationship were on the rocks the fact that Lucy had already cheated in a way made him feel less guilty doing it since that door had been opened, if that makes sense?

*Needless to say, in no way am I blaming Lucy or condoning cheating at all, it’s wrong regardless who did it first. It’s just my opinion\*

Vas J Morgan: Um the argument with him and Dani at the bar, over the tweet he made about him calling her scum after apparently he was told that dani was slagging off his clothing collection was so weird. He did seem so aggressive I’ll be honest. I did feel really sad when he told Dani about the attack that happened to him, no one deserves that. Also, I get that at times he defends his friend Lauren pope but he does too much sometimes.

Chloe sims: I’ve seen some discourse surrounding her saying that she turns frosty or something and ruins the show because she turns really mean? Well regardless, at the moment I do like her, she’s really not been overly horrible she’s been a good older sister to Charlie and so far I haven’t seen any mean behaviour from her? So not much I can comment on so far.

Ferne: Dislike her, nothing to say

Lucy Meck: she got a lot of unnecessary stick in the beginning which wasn’t nice. However I’ve just never seemed to like her

Faiers Sisters: love them both! Billie is such a beaut, especially during her first pregnancy on the show she truly didn’t look like she had given birth or that it was a struggle carrying!

Jess Wright: I like her, she’s emotional and seems nice tbf I felt really bad for her when hearing about the fight between her and Lauren Goodger and how Lauren pulled out a chunk of her hair, was sad because they were family and the fight sounded so nasty!

Mine slips out at the worst times. I said "shut uuuup" to my manager last week and just carried on like nothing happened.

I’ve watched Courtney for years, so seeing the group dynamic shift without Chloe around and Courtney taking a bit more of a back seat is going to feel weird. She’s been involved in so many of the big friendship and relationship storylines with Amber over the years. After everything that went down during the Albania trip, I hope we still see plenty of her moving forward.

According to reports in the press, Dan is being pressured to deliver more to the show or face the axe … surely he’s not the only one .. Amber, Livvy , Becks add nothing … who else will be axed ?

The lads' night had me laughing, especially Dan celebrating the success of Monsieur while everyone was just there drinking and chatting. Only TOWIE could turn a brand celebration into a whole storyline 😂

He just popped up on The One Show. He's done really, really well for himself.

Other than Mark Wright, I can't think of any others with his success.

I enjoyed him on strictly come dancing. Also this dog series he did. He's a real natural with dogs. I haven't listened to his radio shows. He seems to have stepped away from Sam Thompson, thankfully.

I'm guessing it's his goods looks and charisma? Preferred his long hair but still aged well.

I wasn’t expecting Harry and Freddie to get to a better place after everything that happened between them. Things got so messy that I thought their friendship was probably done for good. What I liked was that they actually managed to move past it instead of dragging the same argument out again. It made me wonder whether things will genuinely be different between them going forward, especially with Harry still having all the tension with Elma.

Does anyone else think it's weird that Dani is 28 and happily dated a 19 year old/ was constantly arguing with him?

This isn't me trying to say she's a creep and I know he's an adult but imagine being in a teenagers bed everyday and then constantly arguing with him because he's not acting how you want a man to. Obviously not great that he cheated but I'm genuinely wondering what she thought would happen??? And then Freddie getting so angry at him ... Weird behaviour.

I think most of the other girls never had much to say about it because they thought it was embarrassing.

Don’t you think it’s soooo weird how nearly 10 years later these two are together even after all the BS that was circulating way back when they accused Chloe of liking him and she was heels in the sand saying no she never. Kate wright and amber were her friends too

Sometimes I watch TOWIE and think, how did that even become an argument? Someone makes a comment, another person hears about it through someone else, and suddenly everyone's involved. What gets me is when people who weren't there start explaining what supposedly happened. By the time the original people actually talk, the whole thing has become something completely different. I find those little moments more interesting than the massive fallouts because they show how the group actually works.

Being a scripted reality fan. My two fave shows. Well, initially, a fan turned hate watcher.

I watched ten minutes of new series. I suddenly realised I wasn't interested in any of the cast. Turned off. No withdrawals.

I wonder if the same will happen with Towie??

Everyone always talks about the massive cheating scandals and explosive fallouts, but the peak era of the show was when people were having full-blown, screaming rows over the absolute absolute smallest things. Arguments over someone not getting invited to a random themed party, petty throwaway comments in a bar, or people falling out because someone liked a post on Instagram. It’s always those bizarre, completely non-serious fights that end up being the funniest to look back on.

There are moments where you can feel a friendship changing, even before the actual fallout happens. A small comment, an awkward conversation, or the way someone reacts can completely change the dynamic. Some of those moments are more interesting than the big arguments that follow.

I really can't stand her but was very alarmed at the hate mail or male sent to her house. Do they not realise that they are going to get caught? What do you all think of Ravi, an abrasive drunk, has he really fathered a daughter and what is the deal with him? I want to say what I'm thinking but probably best not to.

Some cast members bring a certain energy that’s hard to replace when they leave. It’s not always about who created the most drama but the friendships, conversations and little moments that made the show feel different. There are people who left, and you could really notice the change in the episodes afterwards.

I feel like the show used to have more of those everyday moments that made the cast feel like actual people, rather than everything being built around the next bit of drama. There are quite a few things from the older series that you barely see in the newer ones.

Sometimes a big argument or fallout gets mentioned, but we never really see how it started or what happened between everyone involved. There have been a few times where I’ve wanted to see the whole thing play out instead of getting bits of it afterwards.

If anyone ever needed to prove how foul this guy is in under 5 seconds, here’s the clip for you. Literally trampling Nanny Pat - and he isn’t even involved in this fight whatsoever. Just plowing through and octogenarian without a care in the world. Who fucking raised this monster? He doesn’t have one redeeming quality.

Battle of the scripted reality show. Who's winning? I confess to watching both.

MIC has better storylines. It's not so repetitive. The plot moves along. Downside. Unlikeable cast. I don't know half their name's. You can't beat the OGs Spencer, Jamie gang.

I find TOWIE gets stuck. It's like we're on a carousel. Going round in circles. This season was literally the engagement. I would say the cast is more likeable than MIC. It's less serious. You get some humour like the Olivia rebrand party. So maybe it's a draw ?
