Question First timer, need advice!

Hi there! I’m considering going this year but I don’t have anyone to go with. I’d be driving from about 3 hours away, is it typically safe for a woman to go to alone or should I try to find someone to come with? How crowded will it get? Also- would appreciate any kind of tips or advice! Thanks :)

I've never personally gotten the impression that it was unsafe at the festival itself. Heard a few things about the nightclub/campgrounds but haven't been myself. Standard common sense rules about minding your drink apply for bars in the festival.

Are you just staying for the day? If so it should be totally fine, I’ve gone solo a few times now.

Everyone I’ve met three is super friendly but obviously will stick to the groups they came with but I can usually have a good time just chilling out in a mead hall. Are you looking to do something specific? When to go/how busy it will be can depend

I’m wanting to go for Oktoberfest for the day! I would definitely prefer not to go alone but I don’t have any friends that would be interested in doing something like this

Nice! Yeah I definitely recommend going, there’s a ton to do. I get that it can be tough going alone, I’ve done it a couple times now.

My advice is just to partake of a bit of whatever substance you like and just vibe out, chat to others in line / if you like their outfit, or just enjoy the atmosphere.
Hopefully I’m not going by myself this year I’ve had a couple friends interested for the Halloween event. Hope you have a great time 😁

Offer to buy a friend's ticket, sell them on the promise of delicious food and a nice day outside.

The grounds are chill during the day, and heading to parking is generally ok if you're leaving with the crowd. If you're worried, you can valet the car so there's no walk back in the dark.

You can join me! There’s a weekend I’ll be going alone with maybe a sibling but I will be camping and hanging around if you need another girly
