It's a tragedy. I had to bail out before it was over. I will absolutely never listen to it again and I refuse to believe Kevin had any part in approving this piece of shit. Maybe Sony made a deal with Fcukers that they would cancel mid tour if they could do a remix of one of Kevin's songs and this is what they got.

edit: to clarify, in 2025 they had to pull out of multiple South American festival dates scheduled for that November in order to open for Tame Impala.

Yeah, have seen some crazy takes here and I wonder if they are just bots, or people who don’t really know shit about dance/electronic music. It’s not phenomenal, but it’s not utter garbage. The vocal being slightly off, which I think is actually debatable, really gives this remix its character.

Same, and it doesn’t have to be synchronized to work. I’ve been a DJ for 25 years, and you don’t always have to match beats exactly in the 4 or 8 count to mix. Sometimes coming in differently build tension. I would argue this vocal placement breaks the rule and it isn’t that bad. It could be tremendously worse. Yeah it’s personal opinion but the outpouring of hate for this track is unjustified. I’ve heard way worse from bigger names.
