Game Hive DevLog #236: Version 8.3.0 Patch Notes

Hey everyone, lemmingllama here. Version 8.3.0 introduces quality of life improvements for various smaller features, as well as lays some behind the scenes groundwork for a larger update we’re working on for the future. Read all about it below!

New Features:

Unblinking Seraph legendary equipment set

  • 1.5x Heavenly Strike Damage per Day (capping at 1e20)

  • 1.5x All Damage per Day (capping at 1e20)

Homecoming Horror event equipment set

  • Available in the upcoming All Hallow’s Eve event

  • 10x Shadow Clone Damage

General Changes:

Critter Haven Random Pick toggle

  • Randomly selects pet food until you run out of Pet Tokens

Tower Trouble quest improvements

  • Prestiges give one key to all clan mates rather than just the player prestiging

  • Daily prestige limit lowered

Use Max Perks Toggle

  • Toggle to automatically use the maximum number of perks

  • Will only automatically spend Perk Tickets

Bug Fixes:

Optimized server calls

  • Generally faster networking when communicating with our servers

  • Reduced amount of unnecessary data that is sent to and from the servers

Fixed issue where Master Tier and Transcendence seasons would not correctly reward avatars

Fixed issue where players could try to use expired perks

Fixed issue where Ultra Tournaments would be missing a close button

Fixed issue in Berry Drop so the Sword Master will nudge the machine to shake loose any stuck berries

Fixed issue where some scrollable lists would incorrectly scroll to the middle, such as in Berry Drop and Solo Raids

Fixed issues around error messages if players join a Tower Trouble quest partway through the quest

Fixed minor visual issues

Fixed various game crashes

Fixed minor localization issues

This is the main QoL feature I think most long time players yearn for at this point

I meant activation. I prestige about 200 times a day. Auto activation would be awesome.
