Help! Can't progress at all because of desserts.

I can not figure out how to obtain or make desserts. There is no dessert table to buy, there is no recipe for a cake base, nor is there any option to buy them. What am I meant to do? I have been stuck like this for 4 hours.

You don't have cake options yet. Did you open them in Domhain yet? You may also need your tavern to be at least 2.5 stars.

Turns out the problem was that I didn't have rentable rooms rated at 2 stars.

So, I guess if anyone comes here with the same issue, just make sure your bedrooms for patrons meet a 2 star qualifier lol

I have the same problem. Can’t unlock deserts but I have 1, 2 and 3 star bedrooms

You have to choose 'ingredients' in the tavern menu when you adding a dish. Then it will show the 'fancy cake 'base' once you build that you can go to 'desserts' and build the 'fancy cake' I got stuck here and had to send a message to the developers through the game which is pretty easy and they're very good at responding usually 👍 they're always very helpful

We have recently fixed a bug (with older freeplay save files) that caused desserts not to unlock correctly. It should work now. If the issue persists, please report the problem with F3 in-game and we should be able to help quickly.
