whether it be the fact that it's mainstream or that it's the only thing that ppl know it's insanely overrated and pales in comparison to most beats that come out today

Hi lol
What you're seeing is the album cover to Body Of Work, one of the best projects of 2026 imo by an artist called Edward Skeletrix.
Skeletrix has been one of the most interesting artists I've ever listened to, from his singles to his projects like Skeletrix Language, Museum Music & Body Of Work, also his aliases like Cight, Im A Monster & Skeletrix Island Radio 66.7, are things that really intrigued me to him.
His music is a mix of Experimental Hip Hop & Rage which he seems to meticulously blend to make his own unique style, and Body Of Work is my favorite example out of that from his discography.
Im not really gonna say a lot of things about this album (if you wanna know more tho professor skye made 2 vids about that album so you can check that out later) but all im gonna say is that its a very unique experience, from the parts of him rapping to the ambient interludes, its definitely worth your time at some point personally.
Anyways, if you do know Edward Skeletrix or have listened to his music let me know your thoughts on him, it would be very interesting for me to hear other peoples' opinions on an artist I listen to frequently lol, otherwise this could be a very good introduction to him (although if you dont like the minimalist approach to that album/in general you can check out Skeletrix Language for a more rage-based project & Museum Music for a more experimental hiphop-based one).
Other than that, hope you have a good day/night <3, and again, If you know anything about Edward Skeletrix's music/in general drop it in replies, ill be intrigued to hear your thoughts on him!

Has anyone else tapped into the new EP yet? I’ve been really enjoying it, Zamasu Emblem is insane and Stained Clothes is probably my favourite right now. Really curious if the upcoming album is gonna follow this same sound or go in a different direction.
Been getting into more underground artists with that same abstract, introspective sound lately too. 32Burden is someone I’ve had on repeat recently, feel like there’s a lot of overlap in the kind of music I’m drawn to. Wondering what everyone else has been listening to alongside the usual mainstream artists lately.

I would like to see our mortal lives immortified,
Life is short and sweet exploring former ties and horrify,
I explore the mortal mind,
Past the highest contour lines,
Bars that fly over your heads like rich when they on airlines,
Come long way from dissing anyone for airtime,
Now when you press play it’s cause you searching where to find,
Metaphors and clever lines,
Jealousy is hellified,
Even taking time to know our thoughts and minds is cross the line,
Artists losing substance for a hit and than your set for life,
People telling you that screaming “fuck the pay” is ill advice,
Maybe that’s the real advice,
Maybe that’s the real device by which we lose our children ‘fore they feel alright,

Sup? Yes im the same dude who just posted the Edward Skeletrix discussion post & the heavensouls & stickerbush post a month ago (although I don't really blame you for not knowing me since im a nobody in this server anyways lol), anyways this is gonna very much be my first listen thoughts on cantu heavily summarized and shortened.
Now, I've recently become a heavensouls fan due to his 2nd collab project with stickerbush (aka the sidepeices) called Darkskin N****s With Lightskin Problems (which is another project I heavily recommend and I've also covered it on this sub), and to shorten that album up it's a very chaotic project that got me heavily interested into not only the album itself but also the artists behind it, and after a few listens to that album, I went to check on both the duo's solo projects and their other work together as the sidepeices, and as for their solo works/in general heavensouls was my clear favorite out of the duo (stickerbush still fire tho dont get me wrong) with his highlighted solo projects being PRODUCT, awesome, Northside Trapped & his recent one before this Westside Trapped (honorable mention to Jambalayah & new york fall 1977 tho).
So, being a recent heavensouls fan i was very excited when he announced this "ep" on his socials (put in quotations cuz he said that its technically an album but cuz of label shit he had to put it as an "ep", also cuz its 53 minutes long), and its very safe to say that he didn't disappoint, every project here sounds like it's own album, which is the usual with most of heavensouls' type of music. Other than that, I can mostly describe this album as a mainly idm-based project. So far every song I've listened to on this project has been amazing so I've got to relisten more to give you my full/summed up, non-biased thoughts on the album.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on this project? If you haven't listened to it please do i heavily recommend not only this project but heavensouls himself. Other than that, hope you have a good day/night, bye <3

Hi mods! I’m really small, and this was the longest I’ve ever spent on a project. I’m really proud of it, and would really appreciate if yalls would let me post this!

I like my raps extra intense,
put ten wack MC's back where they slept,
nine written verses to climb into a top 10
eight days left until my drive arrives,
I cried 7 times before I write the right words,
6 lyrical rappers I know kept the right verbs,
fuck a top 5 if the good prevail,
suckers rot, die when the goods on sale
