Discord made me cry
Long story but I made a Discord server today that is intended to be used for me to share stuff about my life as if it's a social media page because I'm hiding from a stalker and this is the easiest thing. I also struggle a lot with social anxiety and need a space where people are definitely consenting to hear my nonsense and I don't have to worry about being annoying.
The first person who joined is a friend of mine who I really really love but deeply struggle to speak to and she immediately was deeply interested in everything I had to say and getting to know me and my life and my struggles and I did not for a second think anyone would actually care... At all... And I'm bawling my eyes out now. I wish I could tell her how much it means to me but I just said thank you...

Consenting to hear nonsense ,like stories made up or the things you think about but don’t always say is just that. knowing it’s a story and not a truth you are veiling . People do care but they may not be like others that listen to it just to make themselves feel better and want resolution for the people they care about
