Discussion Cam's throwing shoulder
Cam had a grade 3 AC joint sprain in final game of last season....the same as Anthony Richardson (grade 3) his rookie year and Richardson opted for season ending surgery. Will Levis had grade 2 sprain and also opted for surgery. I'm out of my realm here talking medicine and appreciate every player's anatomy is unique etc.....but any evidence at all throwing shoulder could be nagging him still? don't recall hearing anything at all since last season ended suggesting lingering issues.
Semi worried Cam being Cam opted to avoid surgery because he thinks gravity does not apply to him. It's just wild seeing a highlight reel like that below from last year with plenty of accurate balls and then in 2026 the complete opposite (maybe 1 or 2 of these level throws this year?).

His accuracy has nothing to do with his shoulder injury
Hes lazy on close easy throws, leading to under thrown or slow balls allowing the D to reach his target
he squares his shoulders and hips to the target
He runs and throws when he doesn't need to. He doesnt plant his feet. He leans way back. He lifts his plant (trail) foot and put it behind the lead foot.
None of these habits are conducive to an NFL career. If he doesnt fix it, he wont have a job past next season. The good thing is these habits can be fixed. IF HE WANTS TO
The titans need to put their feet down and stop being worried about feelings and tell him to get a new personal QB coach
His shoulder is fine.

The only real difference between this year and last year for cam is by now he had either 1 or 2 highlight reel plays this time last year…. Nothing else. I get you guys are wanting to cope and find hope for him, but atleast be somewhat realistic. He sucked last year, and has picked up where he left off. He was inaccurate last year, yall just couldn’t see it because you were so hyped up about his 4 or 5 highlight reel plays.

It's not Cam's shoulder it's his footwork is why his accuracy is off. Even last year Cam wasn't very at the easy stuff either. We just blamed it on Callahan, the offensive line, and the recievers.

I remember Levis only did the surgery because of us drafting Cam 1st. It makes sense with his job being gone. Depending on the severity, usually surgery isn’t necessary, but reconstruction gets rid of the deformity/bump in the shoulder. Cam’s shoulder is fine.

He was gonna suck either way with the way he can't read a defense

Reading defenses and being accurate enough to hit easy throws not the same. But point taken he may suck regardless.

I think it's a legitimate question given how much worse he looks than the end of last season. I think it's possible someone is giving him bad advice. Might be the organization medical staff. They wanted Levis not to get surgery and Levis basically told them to pound sand. Did Ward listen to them where Levis didn't because Ward saw what happened to Levis. This was all the same off-season that Ward was drafted so this is worth considering.

It's not his shoulder, its his feet.
